Sunway Club Otel

We went as a couple (M60 F60) for a very long weekend break at the end of May. The hotel has a number of positives but also a few negatives...some of the negatives could probably have been resolved if we had more time to get them addressed. The Positives - The hotel is in an excellent location a minute from both the beach front and the main ***** of shots, restaurants and bars. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and unlike some others we had not issue at all with the staff who were always friendly and ready to help. The rooms were of reasonable size with the standard slightly to hard twin beds that you normally get when heading in the direction of the sun. There was a mini fridge aircon and safe and although no kitchen for self catering there was a kettle. Breakfast in the mornings was standard continental type with a couple of cereals, meats, cheeses, eggs, bread and soup as well as the normal coffee and juices and this was more than enough to keep you going through the morning. The pool at the hotel was small but perfectly adequate for the amount of guests (at least at the end of may) and there was never more than a couple of people using the loungers of which there were many. The negatives - The aircon had to be paid for at roughly £6 per day. This I dont normally mind but easyjet holidays had neglected to tell us this and it was this that annoyed me probably more than having to pay it. The safe had to be paid for too although we didnt use it as the short trip meant there wasnt much in the way of valuables with us and the locks on the doi ors were good as well. The two biggest negatives for me however was the aircon was a bit of a con....it didnt really cool the room down and really only acted like a normal fan blowing the hot air around the room. I suspect it was broken and we should have really reported it but with us getting in late the very first night and then only there for another two we frankly couldnt be bothered. The other thing which would be easy for them to resolve was the walk in shower cubicle. The shower itself was fine and neverhad any issue with the temp of the water but the cubicle itself was like an ice rink once wet. For anyone with mobility problems or or a certain age (like us) it really was precarious. A simple anti slip mat or stickers would have been a chea[p solution. Overall a really decent hotel that I can recommend if you are going to Marmaris. If the air con and slippy shower was resolved I would have given it a 5 star review.

Hotel staff rude & unhelpful. Arrived at 2am due to flight delay. Wrong room allocated and then moved. No air conditioning - you have to pay £40 per week. Employee stated we could have it FOC due to the mix up with rooms! In the morning new employee said he would never have allowed it, basically calling me a liar! Been here 4 days and no one has spoken to us since. Marmaris is busy and lovely but have really enjoyed our stay meeting lots of people and enjoying the walking, shopping and food. Weather has been boiling every day so air con is a must! Fredonia coffee is great, as well as food places along the main *****! We had a set menu £22 3 courses plus a drink at The Manadarin Chinese which was fantastic!

Ben ömrü hayatımda böyle bir otele denk gelmedim. Böyle bir deneyim yaşadığım için kendimi çok şanssız hissediyorum. Mesela bir kaç örnek vereyim. Oda da kettle var. Bardak var ama ne bir adet kahve ne de çay var. O zaman neden kettle var. Hadi bunu geçtik. Oda da su yok yanlış okumadınız su YOK. İnsan bir küçükte olsa şişe su bırakır de mi ? Neden su olmadığını sorunca isteyene veriyoruz gibi garip bir cevap aldık. Şaşırmaya devam edelim. Duşa girdim , bilin bakalım ne yok. Duşta şampuan yok :) bu nasıl bir tutumdur. Antalya da ikamet ediyorum. Belki buralar böyledir diye düşündüm. Ama burası Marmaris burası Şırnak değil Marmaris yani turizmin göbeği. Gerçekten inanılmaz. Kahvaltıya indik. Neyse ya bunu da siz düşünerek bulun. Neler olup olmadığını. Gelen buraya bin pişman olur yine de siz bilirsiniz. İvedi şekilde bu otelin yönetiminin değişmesi gerek verdiğimiz paraya yazık ya haram zıkkım olsun

I stayed at the hotel out of season. The manager and staff ,were friendly courtious and made you feel very welcome. The hotel itself was clean relaxing and welcoming The rooms were bright clean well Equipped and comfortable..great sea view.. The swimming pool was marvellous. For the price i paid . It was a brilliant stay ... I would recommend this hotel. Indeed ...

Stayed in this hotel in September with my husband and my sister we were supposed to have sea view room which we payed for 1st our room 307 was not a sea view room. There was a smell in the room but thought nothing of it at 1st as it was not to bad .Anyway went to reception to say we booked a sea view he said there was no sea view rooms left as it was in the middle of the night we couldn't be bothered arguing with him tried again next day ignored we went for breakfast cups filthy hardly any cutlery two tea spoons for coffee and tea between everyone they sat in glass of of dirty water the bread sat out open no tea towel to cover to cut so everyone was just picking up bread with their hands plates dirty. Anyway with all that beds were not changed once holes in wall . As it got hotter the smell became unbearable in room again we went to reception and complained the receptionist was not interested je said ill send up cleaner the smell was coming from drains in bathroom her solution was to put a peace of toilet paper over the drain and cover it with toilet brush holder receptionist would not even come to room by this time my husband was getting annoyed after heated discussion my husband said look this is not the room we payed for we payed for a sea view the receptionist called Him a lair as u can imagine my husband was raging he said ill get u the paper work returning to the room we got paper work and went back to reception guess what he was gone the manager said he is having family dinner and to stop making a fuss we had to wait another 3 days with an utterly smelly room till the jet 2 rep came on the Thursday showed her all photos. And ask her to come to our room the smell was so bad by then she could smell it b4 she even got to door she made receptionist come too she said to him can you not smell that he said no anyway got another room no sea view but no smell room 207 a joke bed base huge mattress tiny plenty of bumped knees toes as you had to step about half a foot each side my husband is a size 10 shoe from base to mattress my husbands foot still was room to move feet again to the edge of the bed please AVIOD we stay in turkey twice or the times a year and don't expect much unless we are lucky enough to go All inclusive which we do once a year PLEASE Don't go our holiday was ruined from start to finish Jet2 answer £60 refund after spending £600 each

just got back from a 8day stay the location of the hotel is great just a 30second walk to the beach and water park plenty of shops bars and restaurants had room 507 on the top floor (floor 5) family room with 5 single beds the room size was great but the beds was very uncomfortable it had 2 balcony one with side sea and pool view and the 2nd lovley views of the mountains/hills we paid for bed and breakfast and the breakfast consisted of beans boiled eggs fried eggs sometimes scrammbed toast and cereal in my opinion the breakfast was very bad we desided one morning to pay for a cooked breakfast i went to order and was told no by the staff i looked around to see 1 other family eating a cooked breakfast so i pointed this out and then he let us order one 2 days later we wanted another cooked breakfast was told no again and we had to go out to eat one from else where as we was not haveing the one that was provided the staff was quite rude when speaking to us and are not attentive at all we ate at the hotel for dinner some days and the food was better then the breakfast but again if we was hungry at 12/1pm we was been told we cant order till 2pm due 1 person been in the kitchen the room was cleaned every day but not to a great standard only beds made and clean towles daily the pool was as exspected and kids enjoyed this can take any inflatables in but be carefull around the edge of the pool as my kids foot kept going through the white drain part around it i think the only thing this hotel as got going for it is its location and unfortunately i would not return the attentiveness of the staff and breakfast let it down for me the staff did not go out of there way to be rude but when asking can i order some breakfast please? and in return get told NO! in a rude mannor no explanation or apology

Lovely hotel in great location,helpful staff, the room was excellent the best room I’ve had in turkey,the breakfast could be improved,but would definitely return x no trouble getting a sun bed x pool was nice and clean, bars were literally round the corner, beach across the road,but very quiet.slept every night with balcony door open.felt safe and secure.a really enjoyable stay.

Lovely clean hotel, Hotel was in a fab location! About 5 second walk to Aqua Dream Water Park aswell! Lovely polite Reception lad for us getting there at 3am, he was still jolly! All Staff were lovely too! Maids were fab, in every day changing towels, bedding etc. There was no hassle from anyone! We got to keep the room in for £20, which was a bonus as you have to vacate at 12, but can still leave your luggage. Food was lovely and well presented and very fresh!! The Pizzas were made to absolute perfection! 👌🏼 Already been looking at prices for next year and we only come back 18/9/23 😆 I loved the pool area
