Kruger Eden Lodge

That's how we felt during our time at the Lodge These were the names of our rooms, but they really made us feel like we were in Heaven and Paradise We stayed at the Lodge for two periods, before and after our 8-day stay in Kruger. We have no words to describe how we felt during the days we were there. A wonderful place, very welcoming, and located right at the beginning of the park and a short distance from the Crocodile River, which allowed us to take beautiful morning walks to see birds and animals in Kruger, on the other side of the river. I will try to talk about each of the aspects that stood out the most: Natalaie - the owner of the Lodge is a very special person and super helpful. Very friendly, she was always there to help us. We had a problem due to the political situation in Mozambique and she helped us find a solution that was safer. Very attentive, she was always present during meals and attentive to every detail. He made us feel at home the whole time. The rooms - As I said, we stayed in two rooms called Heaven and Paradise. They were large and in excellent condition. They were well decorated and had all the amenities we needed. A huge bathroom and a very comfortable King Size bed. We had a balcony that allowed us to relax and watch the wild boars and wild boars in the garden and the monkeys playing in the trees. The cleanliness of the room, as well as that of the Lodge, was impeccable, nothing to complain about. The staff - they are the strong point, kind, helpful and always doing their best to please. José, the cook, couldn't be friendlier and cooked very well. Food - 10 out of 10, all meals and/or braa were of very high quality, always very tasty and plentiful. When we couldn't have breakfast at the Lodge, which was divine and had a lot on offer, they made a superb and varied breakfast lunchbox for us to take away. In the Lodge itself there were many animals and more than once we were woken up by the monkeys having a party on the roof. A very relaxing environment, with lots of nature around. Negative points - Nothing, absolutely nothing - It was one of the best lodges we have stayed in and we always felt very comfortable. Excellent service from the team at Kruger Eden Lodge. Natalie, the manager, was very friendly and helpful and advised us about the nearby walk along the Crocodile River where we saw 10 hippos, crocodile, elephants, waterbuck, kudu and impala! The resident chef cooked us a delicious meal, which we were able to enjoy on the patio with close views of Wildebeest and Warthog. The room was furnished to a high standard and very clean.

Review Krüger Eden Lodge Marloth Park (English below) Die Lodge liegt sehr gut gelegen, etwa 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt vom Crocodile Bridge Gate des Krüger Nationalparks, in der Rund um die Uhr bewachten Ortschaft Marloth Park. Die Zimmer sind luxuriös ausgestattet und nagelneu. Auf dem großen Gelände der Lodge sind verschiedene Tiere regelmäßig zu Gast (Impalas, Wildebeasts, Warthogs,…). Heine, der Gastgeber, sorgt dafür, dass es an nichts mangelt und man sich rundum versorgt wohlfühlt. Joseph und sein Team in der Küche verwöhnen einen kulinarisch und gehen individuell auf Wünsche ein. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und lecker und war auf jeden von uns vier individuell zugeschnitten. Das Highlight war jedoch der Braai, der traditionelle südafrikanische Grill mit Lagerfeuer. Dabei konnten wir verschiedene Fleischsorten und ortstypische Beilagen geniessen. Das Team war sogar so nett und hat unsere Wäsche gewaschen, was den Stress nach Ankunft zu Hause sehr reduziert hat. Wir können die Lodge nach 5 Nächten wärmstens empfehlen. Sowohl für Paare als auch für Familien bietet die Lodge eine optimale Ballance um einerseits auf Safari im Park zu gehen, andererseits aber auch ein wenig Erholung zu erhalten. English: The Kruger Eden Lodge is nicely located about 10-15 minutes drive from the Crocodile Bridge Gate of the Park. It has really luxuriously equipped rooms where you won’t miss anything. You’ll regularly see different animals around the buildings, like Impalas, Warthogs or Wildebeasts for example. Heine, the host did a great job, taking care of us. He showed us the area on a walk and explained a lot about the animals and how to behave when they are around. Joseph and his team in the kitchen took nicely care of us and never let us miss anything. The highlight was the Braai, he did for us in combination with a campfire. He also individually took care of us and our different choices for breakfast. We could even have our clothes washed, which prevented a lot stress after the return at home. After staying here for 5 Nights, we can definitely recommend to stay here. The Location of the lodge in combination with its furnishings/equipment and the great team will be a perfect choice for your vacation in the Kruger Nationalpark
