Located within easy walking distance of desired shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, museums and more! This spacious, historic home was built over 100 years ago, with incredible details throughout. The quiet neighborhood has a large city park with riverside bike/walking trail just steps from the front door.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Adults only.About customRules:No candles, $200 fine..No events - this includes any wedding related activities such as bridal party prep areas. Park View review
Overall it was a great stay. Rooms and beds were comfortable. The house is beautiful with lots of wood trim and floors. Having been built over 100 years ago, it has some quirks, like a tiny toilet room downstairs. There is not a stove, but there is a toaster oven and microwave. The rooms are decorated and spacious. The front porch is very nice and great for sipping coffee and watching Marietta go by.

Sister Trip
The location is great - right across from the park; the front porch is very inviting and the house is beautiful. However only 3 of the 4 bedrooms have air conditioning, and during our stay only 2 of those bedrooms had a working air conditioner, the third spewed debris. We only had 6 towels for 4 people for a 3 night stay. Also, you can only plug in one appliance at a time in the kitchen.

Girls trip
Celebrating our friends birthday. The house is so lovely. Beautiful woodwork and even the lighting fixtures were so unique and fit the house perfectly. The front porch is great! We sat there and loved the atmosphere. The only drawback was the air conditioning not working in one of the bedrooms and no air conditioning in another bedroom.

Beautiful historic home. Very clean, very comfortable. A/C works great, luxury bedding and inviting front porch to enjoy morning coffee. Host was easy to communicate with and check in/ check out was a breeze. Highly recommend & will stay here again next time we visit Marietta.

Lovely home.
Second stay at this home. Perfect location. This is an old home so expect vintage charm when you book your stay. Have nothing negative to say about the home or the owner.

Perfect Stay!
I could not have found a more perfect property in which to stay. The house is simply beautiful and the location cannot be beat! We spent many mornings and evenings on the large porch overlooking the gazebo and river in the distance. The house and owners provided everything we needed and could've wanted, the beds and sitting areas were comfortable and the main part of town was so close. I can't wait to return!

Parkview House beautiful historic home - perfect location
Beautiful historic home in downtown Marietta Ohio. Located across from the park and river this home offers a lovely setting to relax, unwind, and enjoy the quaint town. Close to shopping, restaurants, and Marietta College.

Parkview House
The property was beautiful!! I didn't want to leave. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. Great communication with host. They had everything set and we felt at home right away. Will definitely stay again!!
