Soggiorno iniziato con grande entusiasmo per la descrizione su carta della struttura (hotel 5 stelle gran lusso) che necessita di una mini mappa per attraversarlo per via della sua ampiezza e per il magnifico giardino che si trova al suo interno. Purtroppo con il trascorrere dei giorni abbiamo toccato con mano che non basta dimostrare di avere tutte le carte in regola per appartenere ad una categoria ma bisogna avere cura del modo in cui viene prestato un servizio. Con tutto il rispetto per la storia di questo albergo, è evidente che l'attuale gestione sta vivendo sulla rendita di un glorioso passato oramai superato. Camere sporche, vecchie, infissi rovinati, bagno imbarazzante (doccia con tenda, totale assenza di sacchetti per assorbenti femminili, accessori bagno arrugginiti e traballanti). Una sera abbiamo provato la cena al ristorante interno e, con tanto di scuse del personale, abbiamo dovuto rimandare indietro un'orata praticamente cruda. La sera prima di partire (con check out alle 6.30), veniamo svegliati nel cuore della notte alle 4 da una cameriera che aveva sbagliato stanza per un servizio in camera. Due ore dopo andiamo a fare il check out e il receptionist cade dalle nuvole quando gli facciamo presente che avevamo riservato una navetta per l'aeroporto. Caliamo un velo pietoso sul servizio navetta. Autista improbabile che ci ha fatto spaventare per la sua guida insicura e pericolosissima. Mai più

Vecchio, tipico degli anni 70-80. Non rinnovato, né negli arredi né nella struttura né nel personale che si comporta di conseguenza. Camera con mobili vecchi e una vecchia e polverosa moquette. Vanta 5 stelle lusso, in realtà ne merita tre al massimo. Prezzo spropositato. Da non consigliare.

È un 5 stelle gran lusso peccato che lo sia solo su carta. È rimasto agli anni 80 per gli arredamenti, vecchi e non cambiati da tempo, camera che puzza di muffa, frigo bar che invece di raffreddare scalda, aria condizionata non funzionante, tv piccola, moquette vecchia e impolverata, colazione con te imbevibile. Non consigliato

I want to commend Javier and his team at La Cabane Beach Club for creating the most amazing indoor wedding all at the last minute. As a full time wedding celebrant I see a lot of venues, but the floor to ceiling glass wall meant that none of the spectacular sea view was lost on the 80 or so guests. And the bride truly had a beach-side wedding yet under cover. I 100% recommend La Cabane at Los Monteros as a YEAR-ROUND destination wedding location. @celebrantspain

Stayed at Los Monteros on a Golfing trip with 13 Other guys. From arriving to leaving the staff at Reception, in the Restaurant, at the bar and the maids were fantastic. The pool area and gardens was spacious with plenty of areas to chill out of the sun. Plenty of pool towels available and waiter service around the pool was brilliant. Our golf was arranged through the hotel and was really well marshalled. I would throughly recommend staying at the hotel which well located for Marbella only a 10 minute taxi ride away.

I visited here for a girls 50th Birthday celebration. Nine ladies in total went. Very clean rooms, chocolates on pillows and towels changed every day and robes and slippers provided. Very quiet around the hotel. Shower gels, shampoos etc provided in bathroom. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. We took a bottle of water and had no issue taking it from the restaurant. Lovely large clean swimming pool with plenty of sun beds and pool towels provided. Drinks only around sun beds no food allowed, which never bothered us. There was a bar by the pool but quick expensive. Staff very friendly and helpful. Chap on reception came across quite rude when checking in but everyone else was nice. Pool area on the grass is quite boggy, where the water from the grass just just not drain away so can be a bit muddy in certain areas. I felt this hotel was lovely and I would return with my family. Taxi’s were plenty at the hotel only had to push a button outside the hotel main doors and they arrived quickly. Not walking distance to anywhere, would have to use a taxi.

This is an outstanding resort with first class service. I will start by saying the interior design is brilliant! Very comfortable! The outdoor hot fire pits and pools are beautiful. This is a great place to take a family as well. I also did a spa treatment which was high quality, professional and relaxing. Would highly recommend his place to anyone!

This was our latest visit to Los Monteros Hotel, having stayed there on many occasions. We were made aware that ownership had changed and hotel will close for a staggered refurbishment at the end of October. This is welcomed as certain areas are looking slightly tired. Hopefully new owners will retain the charm of the hotel, particularly the patio area. We were absolutely delighted to receive the normal warm, welcoming, courteous, friendly and efficient service from the usual staff. We cannot praise staff highly enough - reception, restaurant, bar, housekeeping, portering, not forgetting those at the Cabane. We would love to mention you all by name but the list would be endless. We sincerely hope that the current staffing is retained when the hotel reopens, as they are the hotel's greatest asset. We very much look forward to returning in the future.
