Hotel in zona Teluk Senangin Beach (Pantai Peranginan Teluk Senangin), Manjung

Hi Doubletree Damai Laut, May I know is any of these vehicles belong to your hotel owner? (See pic 1). As we been told by your Duty Manager, Jason that these parkings only reserved for the hotel owner/emergency use. We first checked in the hotel on 30/8/24 (Booking No.:32783133097). At that time these parkings were all empty. So my husband & I tried to request to Jason at the reception. We wished to pay & park at there. Unfortunately your unfriendly Jason told us the rule though at that time all the available packing lots were fully occupied. So we forced to park on the passageway like other vehicles (see pic 2). 1 week later, we checked in the hotel again on 8/9/24 (Booking No.:1376730641). But this time we surprised to see this special parkings have been occupied by other hotel guests as per pic 1. Concierge said that these hotel guests had booked the parking 1 week before their arrival. So I assumed the rule changed swiftly in one week or perhaps the guests parked there for emergency like Jason said before. We then tried to park behind a white vehicle, see pic 2. But the security stopped us from doing so and further said they had informed the white car owner to remove his vehicle from there also. Unfortunately we can still see this white vehicle at the same place on the next day after we checked out. Pic 2 is the solid proof. Besides that, we were awaken by the noise of the luggage trolley passed by our room late at night around 1:30am! Can you imagine the noise when this thing runs on a concrete floor that without carpet? All above were the reason why we decided not to extend our stay here but to continue our road trip to other good hotel. We love the landscaping here, and we were regular when it was still under Swiss Garden group. And now the hotel furnishing has upgraded, but management quality still couldn’t keep up. In a nutshell , Doubletree Damai Laut is overpriced & is unable to offer the 5-star hospitality experience by Hilton. PS: Thank you Linda, Raagesh & Maisarah for their unparalleled service.

Buona posizione - nella zona urbana n faccia il mare. Fantastico vento marino! Jetty è vicino. Amichevole personale di fronte ufficio. Camera di base ma molto pulita con un letto confortevole. Ha un distributore d'acqua fuori dalla stanza. Vale la pena rimanere qui. Sicuramente sarà tornato!

Bilik yang sangat luas & selesa . Nak solat pun banyak ruang , siap boleh berjemaah sekali lagi . Dekat tv siap boleh layan youtube lagi . Wifi pun laju . Location sangat strategik 🫶🏻 will repeat again soon 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Bilik ada kipas & aircond 👍🏼👍🏼

La casa degli ospiti è vicina a un lavandino, 7 undici e anche negozio di cioccolato. La stanza è anche pulita e vale la pena! Il proprietario sarà anche molto facile da affrontare. Il soggiorno di casa è anche vicino al jetty di Pangkor. Ci sono voluti solo 3-4 minuti per arrivare se si usa una moto o un taxi.

This hotel is situated at one of the more strategic locations at Pangkor Island, i.e. along the popular Pasir Bogak beach on the west coast of Pangkor. It is a two-storey, low density hotel, whereby rooms on the ground floor have direct access to the swimming pool via their sliding glass doors. This was the first hotel I've stayed at since my childhood or teenage years, which still uses the conventional key drop system at the lobby (i.e. leave things inside your room at your own risk!). Nevertheless, the room that I got (i.e. the Super Deluxe Room, with 2 queen beds) was quite ok, and was able to fit my family comfortably. They also provide a generous allocation of both bath and pool towels in the room as well. The only issue we encountered was that the overhead shower in our bathroom was not working, therefore we could only use the hand shower. On a good weather day, the Pasir Bogak beach provides a beautiful sunset view, while during the morning, you can also enjoy the cool breeze as you enjoy your breakfast at their sea-fronting cafeteria. Although only a limited array of items are available for the breakfast, but they even have an action stall for eggs. At only 10 minutes' drive/ride from the jetty, this hotel is also within walking distance to multiple places of convenience, incl. eateries such as seafood as well as local street-fare, and even a duty-free outlet.

My husband and I chose to have our honeymoon at Pangkor Laut Resort two days after our wedding, and it was the best trip of our lives so far. We had a good first impression of the resort even before we reached the resort. We had arranged in advance for land transfer from Ipoh airport to Marina Island Pangkor, and we thought to have the driver pick us up at 10am even though our flight landed at 8.30am (just in case we faced delays with our flight or at immigration) but we were surprised when he was already waiting for us when we landed at 8.30am. After a 1.5h road trip from the airport to the office, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and towel, and was then escorted to PLR on a speedboat with one other couple (which made us feel special, haha). Upon arrival at the resort, we were again welcomed with a little refreshment and had a staff attend to us immediately, helping us to plan our itinerary for the rest of the week that we were staying there. As we were still early and the rooms were not ready, we had lunch at the Feast Village and then rested in the library, which was very cosy with a good selection of books (only downside was there were so many house lizards, though I am not sure if anything could be done to prevent them from coming). Our room at the Garden Villa was wide and spacious, and we received a congratulatory drink from the resort to celebrate our wedding as well. (It was a nice gesture, but nothing could compare to the attentiveness of the different staff we met over the week, who, upon noticing the henna stains on our hands, congratulated us warmly in person). We also loved that the Garden Villa was so near to the Feast Village and Uncle Lim's Kitchen, which we kept going back to for breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as the food options across the two kitchens were varied and more importantly, delicious. The service at the kitchens were also amazing - Chef Liza was so friendly and approachable that she made us feel at home, and Masum and Nadim went out of their way to make each dining experience feel special for us (such as seating us at places where we would have unobstructed views of the beach, and offering to take photos of us without us even thinking of it). Other experiences we had at the resort were going for the jungle walk, swimming at Emerald Bay and having lunch at Chapman's Bar, and yoga. However, our favourite activity on the resort was going for the spa experience. It was so refreshing and phenomenal, and truly, no other spa can beat PLR's spa. We were pampered from head to toe, and the different bath experiences set the spa apart from other spas out there. The staff were also so knowledgeable and generous with sharing what they know, that both my husband and I learnt so much about the natural ingredients used in our sessions. Definitely made the experience more meaningful and personal for us, and after a hectic wedding weekend, the spa made us feel well rested and rejuvenated. We also got a free room upgrad

My family and I went for a staycation to Teluk Batik. It’s quite near to the beach. There are a lot of parking but make sure you download “Park@Perak” apps to avoid from “kena saman” 😅. Overall the room is quite spacious but unfortunately my room got no mirror in it. Just one mirror in the toilet. The room is also convenient for my family to stay. Overall 3.5/5

This hotel is rather old but upgrading of rooms in progress. I have stayed in this hotel several times due to the services given the staffs. They are helpful and friendly, will take action immediately to complain that are not right with facilities. The breakfast was very limited during this festive month as compared to previously was ok. TV reception is poor, need to improve much more. Special commendations should be given to a FO staff Mr Izzat who is extremely helpful, proactive, polite and professional in dealing with customers. He can even remember my name the moment I entered the hotel lobby after some time from my last visit. Another plus point I like is the gated hotel carpark which I don’t find them around Manjung or Sitiawan, so I find it very safe to park my car for a good night sleep.

Prenotato l'hotel per un breve soggiorno di business. È un buon prezzo e questo hotel viene con ascensore. La stanza era buona e spezia. Le cose fondamentali sono disponibili nella stanza. Il personale era amichevole e il parcheggio gratuito è stato dato. Una cosa che dovrebbero migliorare è l'odore di fumo nelle passeggiate e la stanza ha un odore strano che possono aggiungere alcuni freschi d'aria.
