Pension Poerani Nui

Ia Orana! The Pension Poerani Nui caught our eye when were searching for a real getaway experience in French Polynesia. The beauty of this Motu and its lagoon can not be captured in an image. The people of Manihi, including the hosts Michael and Myriam, are kind, generous and a pleasure to meet. We had our own Pension house with a private bathroom which were clean and tidy. The food was fresh, delicious (often made from fish we caught that day!) and was plentiful. The culture here on the atoll is special and the locals made us feel very welcome. At the pension there is plenty to do and see but we really recommend to anyone going to pay for the activities offered. The lagoon snorkeling and fishing was a breathtaking experience, we have nothing to compare to it in New Zealand. The visit to the pearl farm was fascinating, the workers were happy to show us their craft and were very engaging. We speak English with a little bit of basic French (which I do recommend you practice if you haven't already got some knowledge) but found we could still sit at the table at night and chat with the hosts. If you are interested in scuba diving there is a scuba diving company on the Motu next door (a 2 minute walk or kayak away) with is worth checking out also. très bien,mica et myriam sont super,très aimable et dispo notre séjour c'est bien passé et on a bien rigolé,bungalow bien aménagé,cuisine etait bonne surtout les desserts,exurcions top,on a bien apprecié la pension au calme excursion et déjeuner sur un motu était très bien,pétanque avec coco parfait,poisson grille vraiment bon,bonne ambiance,

La piscine naturelle d'eau de mer est gigantesque devant les bungalows vue mer c'est une heureuse surprise dont nous avons bien profité. Tout confort les bungalows sont spacieux avec une grande salle de douche. Les hôtes Mikael et Myriam sont aux petits soins pour leurs clients.
