L’hotel è ricavato dalla ristrutturazione di un’ottocentesca haveli, decisamente molto bella e suggestiva. Anche il bagno è molto spazioso con la doccia con vetro e acqua calda, requisiti non scontati nei piccoli alberghi in India. Ottima la pulizia e anche la colazione è veramente buona, sia salata che dolce. La posizione centrale consente di visitare Mandawa, città veramente stupenda con tutte le sue haveli , curiosissime per gli affreschi che vi si possono notare, a piedi. Il prezzo di euro 39 per doppia con colazione rende il soggiorno ad altissimo rapporto qualità prezzo, con fascino d’altri tempi.

La struttura è bellissima, le camere sono spaziose e arredate con molto stile, anche l’edificio è molto accogliente, bellissimo il cortile interno con delle aree coperte, molto suggestive, dove bere il caffè e far colazione. Ci sono tuttavia alcune cose da segnalare. Il proprietario ci ha fatto pagare il tè masala di benvenuto, non ci è mai successo né in questo viaggio né in altri paesi. Non si è reso disponibile per la cena. Le camere sono dotate di bollitore per l’acqua calda, ma non ci sono bustine di tè o caffè. Abbiamo chiesto un caffè al rientro dalla cena e lo abbiamo pagato. Per comodità abbiamo rinunciato ad una delle due camere grandi che avevo prenotato (nulla da dire sulla più piccola, anch’essa molto bella e curata), ma ho pagato lo stesso prezzo. Non ha accettato pagamento con carta di credito, conto scritto su un foglietto a mano.

In occasione di un mio viaggio in India ho avuto modo di soggiornare in questo stupendo haweli. Camere perfettamente ristrutturate rispettando lo stile delle antiche dimore. Personale super gentile .Ottima colazione e possibilità di pranzare e cenare su prenotazione .

Bellissimo boutique hotel ricavato da un'antica haveli magnifica. Ci hanno accolto con un buonissimo thè e ci hanno così coccolato con dal nostro arrivo che non ci sembrava vero. Camera bellissima, al secondo piano, molto curata nei dettagli e molto suggestiva. Peccato esser stati qui soltanto una notte! Siccome vi abbiamo soggiornato a gennaio era un pochino freddo, ma nella stanza c'era un termosifone elettrico e tante calde coperte, per cui ci siamo scaldati senza problemi. Bagno spaziosissimo. La colazione era inclusa e c'era tanta roba. Abbiamo apprezzato molto le guava fresche

Wow, what a super place. We stayed here towards the end of our 3 week tour of Rajasthan and it's definitely one of the nicest places we found. The room was large, clean, comfortable and beautiful. Virendra is a wonderful host and ensures that everything you need is there. We had the most delicious vegetarian meal for dinner, and also a fabulous breakfast. Staff were all very attentive and polite. Highly recommend this delightful place.

We had 2 nights staying in Hotel Chobdar Haveli and it was marvellous. The decor is stylish and room size generous with some ensuites having a bath. Our care was superb and the vegetarian food freshly cooked and utterly delicious. It is a step away from the main havelis but calm and quiet. Go and stay there!

The location was good as we were in old mandawa and we were at a walking distance to all havelis. The food was great and according to whatever was needed. The staff was polite and catered to all needs

This is a very beautiful small hotel in an ancient haveli, in a silent corner of Mandawa. The room are merveilleus and provided with any comfort. The host is very professional and considerate. The relation cost-quality is very high. I strongly augment this hotel.
