ADB Kanvas

After having an overall good experience in ADB Kanvas Lataguri, we booked their resort in Mandarmani. But ABD Kanvas Mandarmani is equally bad and pathetic in all respects. Their service is extremely horrible, they don't care what the guests are saying. They just ignore the guests. The number of service people are not in good proportion to the size of the property and the numbers of guests. The rooms would have been good if they would have kept it clean. The rooms are not maintained and are not cleaned properly. Even the corridor, staircase and restaurant's dining tables and it's wash basin are pathetically dirty. The restaurant sitting capacity is not enough at all as per the number of rooms/guests that they have. The staffs in the restaurant is not enough to serve the guests that they have. You need to wait for at least 45-50 mins or 1 hour once you place the order. The restaurant is a total mess. The lady sitting at the restaurant desk is useless. Food is average. The only good thing about this resort is the location. It has direct access to the beach.

1. We reached the hotel at about 1.35 pm with the check in time being 1 pm. We  had to wait till 2.30 pm as the rooms were still being cleaned. We had to follow up continuously for which the front desk did not have any answers. They were dilly dallying with our follow up  2. Surprisingly the visitors do not have to any sign any register for check in and check out When rooms were made available towels were not provided for which we had to follow up a no of times  Boarders cannot contact the reception/front desk/pantry.  Can contact a waiter only  who is  available for room services.  3.  The open lawn where boarders  can spend their time in the evening is fully controlled by drunkards and loud music. It is not fit for a family spending their time in the space. We requested  the manager to lower the  volume of the DJ box a few times but the request was not adhered to. The people were  drinking and dancing  like anything and it was not at all suitable for families especially with children. We could not allow our daughters to ride the swings alone as we felt unsafe within these drunkards.  After sometime we shifted to the confines of our rooms to feel safe. Next morning when we complained to the  Manager, he was very rude and told us that the Management cannot do anything as they have to heed to the request of these boarders who want to drink in the open.  Our experience says that the resort is not suitable  for families. The Management should put in a disclaimer that Families not  wanted. Rooms  available only for bachelors.

Street dogs are roaming freely in the compound it wasn’t safe at all we paid for safety not for this. Food quality was not at all good rooms were smelling

Location is good The food is delicious and the hospitality is excellent

Location is very good. Sea beach front. Good for family and kids. Food is excellent. Staffs are very cordial. All kind of amenities available. Direct sea facing 2/3 bad rooms are less.

We had a really nice time. Service and the behaviour of the staff was really great. It is beautiful property, well maintained and clean. The pool is accessible and clean. The food is great and affordable and hygienic. It is a beautiful property with a sea viewing deck in the front. Beach is accessible. The night view is scenic.
