Hotel Reddoorz a Mandaluyong

Inizialmente, ci fu dato una stanza al secondo piano, era spaziosa, ma affrontata dalla strada principale, così era molto rumorosa, la stanza era pulita, ma non molto presentabile, e guardava soprattutto il pavimento di cemento molto di base, con segni di riparazione ancora li'. Sono 67 anni, il mio partner è 83. Non riusciremo a dormire, con il rumore che viene dai veicoli passeggeri tutto il giorno e la notte, quindi ho chiesto di essere trasferiti in un altro locale. Siamo stati trasferiti al terzo piano molto rapidamente, una piccola stanza, ma molto più pulita e tranquilla. La posizione dell'hotel è perfetta - un jeepney che si dirige lontano dal luogo della nostra riunione. Vicino alla hall della città, attraversa la strada e ci sono Jollibee, Chowking, Watson e molti altri ristoranti. Il personale di nome Joel mi ha aiutato a rispondere alle mie domande.

The hotel is about 11 months old so still relatively new. I stayed two nights. The first night was in a smaller, standard room, in the front facing the road. The only problem was the traffic noise starting around 530 am. The next night I was in a larger room in the back and it was pretty nice, and mostly quiet. It had two beds, single and a queen, but its OK I like the extra space that came with the room. But it's a bit surprising. In a country where people, and usually hotel staff, are generally friendly and pleasant, the staff here didn't speak to me at all or even acknowledge me the entire time I was there. A few of the housekeepers did speak to me by the second day, but not the overall staff. Even when I checked out, both the receptionist and the manager just keep busy with whatever they were doing and didn't even look in my direction or say a word. OK but but that's a problem, because it's the hospitality business after all. The cafe is good and the food is exceptional. The location is a little far away from what I was used to in the city but manageable. Still overall it was a good stay, mostly because the rooms are super clean and new.

Tutto bene tranne la TV che riproduce e mette in pausa a intermittenza per tutto il tempo in cui siamo stati in hotel. Abbiamo chiamato il personale di Frontdesk e ha detto che chiederà alle pulizie di controllare ma nessuno è entrato fino al check-out. Servizio scadente!!!
