The receptionists at front desk are so nice and welcoming. Really kind to help me and check in , out , luggage storage are all really smooth thanks to them. Really beautiful too 😊 room is big and location is golden. A few mins walk distance from everywhere. Definitely recommend 😊

Location was excellent, very central and easy to get to on the free bus (number 2). Although the room was clean, at breakfast a glass came out of the dishwasher with lipstick still on it, which wasn’t checked before being put back out. The room is intimate with a pod like bathroom so you need to be comfortable with whoever you’re travelling with. Sleep quality was okay, the hotel was quiet but the bed is hard which made it difficult to sleep. They provide free tea and coffee, which can be accessed by a machine on each floor. For a non tea or coffee drinker it would have been nice if water was also provided. The breakfast was average but good vegan option. I recommend if you’re having breakfast to go down early because it seems to be cooked and lefted out on the bar for you to help yourself so didn’t look at it’s best by the time we came down at 9:30am. The staff were friendly and the restaurant/bar area make a great photo opportunity but I’d suggest going on a Sunday afternoon for a drink, if you want to maximise this when it’s quieter. I wouldn’t stay here again and if I did I’d definitely get breakfast elsewhere.

They sold our room and tried to make us rebook and pay again!! We booked 2 x double rooms for 3 nights and paid in full when booked (12th - 15th April). I requested adjacent rooms. Our flight got cancelled so 2 of us were unable to stay the first night. Our daughter travelling from elsewhere and arrived at the hotel the first night, 12th April, checked into one room and told them the situation and confirmed that we would be arriving the next day, 13th April. We arrived, tried to check in and the lady on reception said that our booking was for 12th and this was 13th so we would have to make a new booking and pay again!! I said no, I booked and paid for 2 rooms for 3 nights. She said because we didn't arrive on 12th our booking was cancelled. I said no it was not as our daughter checked in and told them the day before. I insisted I would not be rebooking and asked to speak to a manager. She eventually checked with a manager and said we could have a room. This was 3 floors down from our daughter and not what I'd booked. They had basically resold my room. I was glad to get a room but not impressed with their service. It was atrocious that I had paid £500+ for the booking but due to circumstances outwith my control - the flight being cancelled - they did not keep our room for us. They were informed of the situation and my daughter was staying there as part of the booking. They are not to be trusted. I wouldn't stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. However, if comfort and modern amenities are a priority, you might want to explore other

Really happy with decision to stay with Wilde. Mostly impressed with the room, which, was spacious & represented great value for money. Snacks/drinks...etc priced quite high, but, understandably so. That said, given the amenities offered in the room, self-catering is the primary option, with purchasing hotel snacks/drinks, viewed as a distant secondary option. Would happily stay with Wilde again

My room was meant to be with king size bed but we got 2 single beds joined together, the single beds had wheels on them so they kept rolling away from each other. It would also move around when you’d try to get into bed. Beds were super high as well, and when they are on wheels it’s a bit tricky to get into one of them especially if you’re short and overweight. Tv was not working, super old so had no smart hub, so no Netflix or any other platforms, you can’t even stream your screen view from your phone. Antenna had no reception so you couldn’t even watch any regular tv programs. Other than that, shower was great and clean, everything else in the room was also clean and the room was pretty spacious which I really liked. Location is great, you have an access to a gym.

Loved the experience went for our anniversary took my 8month year old daughter aswel the service was really good and the hotel its self was amazing the spa and swimming was good ! Overall would defo be coming back soon! Worth it all day long!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per una notte. Era convenientemente situato. Il personale della reception era gentile e ha fatto quello che doveva fare come hotel. L'hotel è un po' datato, soprattutto la moquette in camera. La stanza era un po' soffocante e il tappeto aveva dei segni strani. A parte questo, l'hotel fornisce tè, latte e zucchero gratuiti, conosci le nozioni di base in camera. Soggiorno piacevole nel complesso

Clean and spacious room. Hotel is not close to center but not far to walk. Worth the price as a decent hotel room.

Our stay at this hotel was lovely.The people at the front desk were friendly and warm and really helpful.The lady at the bar was also lovely and friendly.Every staff that we encountered at this hotel was lovely. The hotel has beautiful ambience and modern decor. The location of this hotel is super convenient as it’s very close to the city Center which by walking is about 6minutes.It is also close to the Manchester Picadilly train/tram station. The hotels location is also convenient to restaurants and a nice place called Spinningfield which is a 20 minute walk. We would stay again😊😊🙂
