good place to stay

Do NOT stay here!! Firstly we couldn’t get into the property and spent about 40 minutes on phone calls because no one would answer the door. Then when they finally answered the phone they were rude, and told us we couldn’t leave our luggage there before check in unless we paid £10 per hour to have them there. When check in time came, the doorbell didn’t work so we had to knock numerous times until finally she answered. Me and my boyfriend are 17 and 19 and I was made to write “I consent to be here with Mr “his name” and I am under the age of 18” which I found a bit off putting. She took photos of this and of our ID’s which she still has now. When we got to our room it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Stains all down the walls, stains on the carpet, a weird smell, hair on the bedsheets and empty c*ndom wrappers and a used razor in the drawers. The bathroom was the worst of it. Hairs all over the shower and spiders everywhere. The floor was disgusting and definitely hasn’t been cleaned in months. The bathroom is also shared between at least 5 rooms which when we booked the Guest House it said our room included a bathroom which we assumed would be our own. When you leave the Guest House you have to use a code to come back in which worked on our first night but the second night it wouldn’t open. She then answered the door annoyed, and did the exact same thing as us and it unlocked so it must have been something on her end. The area is awful and very dodgy and we did not enjoy our stay here at all - it ruined our whole trip.
