We had 2 weeks here and have to say, reading some reviews, I was concerned. I didn't need to be. Everything about this hotel is brilliant! The staff, the food, the drinks, the pool, the rooms, we cannot fault it at all. Yes its a little out of the way, however, there are buses every 10 minutes so its really not a problem. The beach is 5 mins walk away, with private bar/food bit for the hotel. Tom & Jerry, absolutely legends! The guys in the shops, awesome! The only thing that aggregated us was the lovely little darling kids being left to run riot. That's nothing to do with the hotel tho, just the parents. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. 😊

I have just arrived back from Waterside and I cannot believe it has 5 stars, more like 3. The incessant boom, boom, boom of the music all day around the pool is manic. Housekeeping is a bit hit and miss, in the rooms and food could be a better quality - I know it’s a buffet but seriously, very repetitive also give the a la carte restaurant a miss too.

The hotel is well located, it is within easy reach of a lovely beach and almost opposite a bus terminus with buses going to all the local destinations including Side and Manavgat. My wife and I arrived late evening to find a dingey reception/main bar area. We had booked a land view room but I had emailed the hotel asking not to be located directly opposite the hotel closely located next door. On arrival the night reception manager said he could give us a sea view for an extra 90 euros cash. We refused but then he said we could have it for 64 euros. We only had 30 euros and 20 GBP and he settled for that, telling us not to say anything to anyone. He then told us we should tip the lobby boy who was a student. The room we had (1311) was nice and overlooked the public BBQ area opposite and the distant sea view. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and we had to keep the balcony door open most of the time, hence BBQ smoke came in as well. But this did eventually clear. The room was of a good standard and was cleaned when we requested it. The best food day was Friday Turkish food but the rest of the time the food was certainly not a gourmet delight. I contracted food poisoning from (I think) meatballs casserole. I was violently sick with diarrhoea and didn't fully recover until we left for home four days later. The Italian a la carte restaurant was a joke. The worst a la carte I have ever had. They even ran out of rose wine until I suggested they get some from the main restaurant. The pizza was a wafer thin flatbread with cheese and breakfast sausage slices on it. Yuk! It seems the Turkish animation team loved one type of music consisting of boom boom bass and drum played extremely loudly from late morning untill late afternoon and then into the evening, so no chill out round the pool. Some softer music round the pool would have made our experience so much nicer. Beware, this music travels thru the rooms. The bar staff in the main bar were great and very helpful and professional. We stayed here from the 9/10/25 to 18/10/25 and made the most of our holiday but would never recommend this hotel. Greece here we come!
