Helios Hotel

We stayed at Helios Hotel from 28/08 to 04/09 with an all-inclusive package, but what we experienced was nothing short of a scam. The food was disastrous – about 80% cheap salads, no quality dishes, no taste, and no variety. There was nothing decent to eat and nothing worth drinking. Water was only available from dispensers mixed with artificial syrups, and the beer was watered down. If you wanted anything normal, you had to pay extra: €5 for bottled beer, €6 for a cocktail, at least €3 for an ice cream, and even bottled water came at an additional cost. This is unacceptable for a hotel that advertises itself as all inclusive. Between meals, there was absolutely nothing available – just coffee, tea, and watered-down beer. Essentially, you paid for an all-inclusive package that included almost nothing. The service was poor, the staff uninterested, and the overall conditions were below any acceptable standard. Everything seemed designed to force you to spend extra money on basic necessities. My recommendation is crystal clear: avoid Helios Hotel at all costs. It is not worth your money, your time, or your patience. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. From the food and drinks to the service, everything was a complete joke. If you value your holiday, do NOT book this hotel!

Arrived after a delayed flight to a warm welcome at 2:30am. Having stayed here last year and having an awful time (the hotel was full of awful guests from all over the world) I decided to give it another try. Travelled as a group of 2 adult ladies (cousins) and 2 teenage girls. Room was cleaned daily, we had a family suite which was spacious with a balcony overlooking garden. Air con was fantastic and very necessary. Updated bathroom with large shower cubicle, large vanity mirror and hairdryer which worked well. Bedroom 1 had a new large, very comfortable bed, access to balcony and dressing table with drawers and stool, bedside tables with drawers. Studio Bedroom had access to balcony, 2 single beds, sofa (I think it was a sofa bed) fridge and was very spacious. Wardrobe with safe was in the hallway along with luggage store. Food was great, always something tasty and fresh, plenty of salads and at dinner,a freshly cooked bbq every evening along side the usual buffet options, plenty of choice at every meal. Pool is fairly small but was never crowded. The sun has gone from the pool area by 4:30 but sun lovers have the beautiful private beach area just 10 minutes walk away (or take advantage of the free shuttle bus) Lunch is served at the beach restaurant along with a full range of non alcoholic hot and cold drinks. (Alcohol is available at the beach, but not as part of the AI package) The bar at the poolside was never crowded and staff were attentive and constantly walking around to see if more drinks were required. All staff were super friendly. English speaking is limited but Google translate provided us with laughs, fun and some great conversations with good people. There is a Spa with massage and other treatments available, my cousin took advantage of this and reports were very favourable. One of the girls celebrated her birthday while we were there, the staff decorated a table for her and made her feel really special. Would definitely recommend Helios Hotel.

Please ignore the previous negative reviews this was a lovely hotel, it says 3 stars that’s what you are getting! Staff were lovely. Breakfast was the same everyday but was so tasty, food is more traditional but was still nice, rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels, only negatives are the floor hadn’t been cleaned when we first arrived, and then wifi was only available done stairs.

Not as described in anyway from (loveholidays). Went with wife and 3 kids. States on advertising of the hotel that they provide free WiFi ( yes but only in lobby of hotel or poolside) no option in rooms. Rooms are very dated. It says they have satellite TV no they don't, It also states phone in the room, most people have there own phone...the phones weren't connected. Yes this hotel has a pool and a small pool for kids, but in this day and age kids want more. My kids did enjoy being poolside, but that was due to other holiday makers interacting with them. Going back to the rooms our shower cubicle was falling to bits, with mould on the tiles. The bathroom furnishings had obviously been reattached to the wall that many times that the grout on the tile work had more hole in it than an ant hill, and we'll not to forget the ants🙈. For an all inclusive it was shocking. Did not cater for children in any sense. They didn't even have ice cream nor snaks for the kids which i have had at all inclusive holidays ive had before.Drinks where either soft drinks,beer,vodka or gin all else you have to pay for but are not branded products. We did meet some nice people there, but had to eat out most days for most meal times which was at a cost that most do imagine they wouldn't have to pay. Everyone has a right to an opinion, but my opinion is avoid and don't waste your money on this hotel. We made a mistake on picking this location and it won't happen again.

It is the worst stay I have had on vacation, the food was terrible, the handling of the cooks, very bad, the food was the same every day, only chicken, cheap fish, pasta that was only cooked, the food that was left was recycled for the next day, it really makes you feel uncomfortable with such good hotels around, we paid for everything included, but we had to go out to eat, we paid for five people, and they only gave us enough for 4, the clients saw the food, and walked straight past, really (loveholidays) I think it is very bad that they put this kind of service in their packages! We feel robbed!

I'm very disappointed with the room from the very beginning, the room has not only been left dirty and not cleaned after previous tenants but I found inspects around the room spider webs mould you name it I found it. For the entire week our bathroom hasn't been cleaned once by the room service. For breakfast we had eggs and onion rings every day so the selection was horrible I do not recommend the stay in this hotel for anyone.
