Kaya Side

Just home from a fantastic holiday here at kaya side. Was a last minute decision for my daughter and i to travel for this holiday but I am so glad we did. The hotel was lovely and provided a relaxed atmosphere around the pools. Being October the pools were cold this time of year but very big pools and lots of sunloungers, the beach was beautiful and a great place to relax in the daytime and good for swimming. Food was ok, always something but repeated we stayed 1 week. Staff were friendly throughout the hotel. Special thanks to Emerhan(not sure if this is correct i hope so) who works in the beach bar in the evenings. He made us feel so welcome from the 1st evening of our holiday such a kind and hard working person, always happy. Rooms were spacious and clean. We watched some of the shows in the evening they were ok, and my daughter loved the foam party and also the bubble fest. Overall was a nice place to stay and a great atmosphere .

I read the reviews before choosing this hotel and I was confident, that it will be good. However hotel looks and feels quite old. Our room was big but it felt empty, had too much empty space. Room was ok, but common usage areas were dirty, like dining areas. Glasses were very ofter dirty. Kids club activities were good. The idea of the hotel is good but it needs renovation and better cleaning in common usage areas. To sum up, I was disappointed because the reviews were so good.

We have just returned from a fantastic 11 nights at the Kaya Side. Arrived late on the Friday evening and checked into 114 (ground floor). This room is tucked away in a corner with very little natural light and overlooks a combination of a wall and the restaurant. As the ground floor room balconies project out, our balcony was coated in cigarette ash from smokers in the many rooms above. This particular room had very noisy air-conditioning and had a faint smell of drains which was unpleasant. We asked to move room and were moved on the Sunday lunchtime to 460 (4th floor with a gorgeous view). The aircon worked just as well and was significantly quieter. The rooms are large and spacious with all the amenities you could need. Safe (free to use), hairdryer, toiletries, slippers, and a stocked minibar (water, still & sparkling, cola, fanta, crisps and breadstick like snacks). Plenty of power points. The balcony is large and unlike 114, it had a drying rack for your wet swimwear. I had read negative reviews about noise, but I don’t think these are merited unless you overlook the amphitheatre at the front of the hotel. We were close to Café Turk where the late night disco was but it didn’t disturb us at all. Like the rooms, the hotel is spotless. The staff work around the clock cleaning and keeping bar, restaurant and public areas pristine. Staff are always emptying bins around the hotel and the place seems to operate like clockwork. The pool is warm and offers little relief from the 40+ daily temperatures, but there is very little the hotel can do about that. The indoor pool is lovely and cool. People seemed to get up and put towels down early so beds were limited if not non-existent after 9am. Staff around the pool are helpful at finding you a bed though and by the end of our stay there was a lot of additional beds on the grassy area. We preferred the grass as it was cooler and you felt the sea breeze. The entertainment offers something for everyone but they do go above and beyond for the kids. The garden party is excellent. Would be good to have something other than volleyball as this is repetitive. Our Daughter used the kids club once but wanted to leave as she was the only British child so felt a little left out. At night the kids can hire electric cars and do a little loop around the big grassy area. It’s frantic and like Mario cart but the kids love it! It is 6 euro for 10 mins. The food and drink offerings are excellent. Breakfast offers a vast selections of cereals, breads, meats, cheeses, and omelettes cooked to order, fresh pancakes, pastries, salads, fruits, everything you can imagine. Lunch and dinner are just as good with plenty of options. We never ate the same thing twice. At lunch we ate at the pool bar, I particularly loved the baked potatoes. You do need to go to the main restaurant for ice cream, but ice cream lolly’s are available at the beach bar from 2.30pm. We did not dine at the A la Carte. No information on this w

From the reception staff to the pool bar staff, everyone and everything was lovely! The hotel has everything you can imagine, even mini shops. The food was exceptional as was the service, the staff always put a smile on my face! Some of the staff who especially made me feel so welcome and made me enjoy my time was the pool bar staff including Celal and Emircan. In the Restaurant, Yağmur and Muhammed were always on top of everything and made sure our dining was pleasant! All the staff were lovely but these are just a few names which come to mind! There was so many different types of food for everyone, even a separate kids buffet! The location of the hotel is also really nice, about 10 minute drive away from the mall. There’s a lot of entertainment for children during the day and evening, including a kids festival, and water slides. The room service was also great, they cleaned when we asked and provided extra toiletries if needed. The rooms were very spacious and had air conditioning which was very much needed in the intense heat! The hotel also had a private beach which was connected to the hotel and it was beautiful! The beach offers water sports but they are extra of charge however are so fun! Overall the experience was lovely and I wish to go back, I would really recommend the hotel!

The vacation went smoothly and it was a lot of fun! I’ve enjoyed every single day in this hotel. I had a great hotel room on a 1 floor. Also about food: it was immaculate and delicious Definitely recommend visit this place and if you need any help I would recommend to ask Shapagat (guest relation ), she helped me a lot also Abdulvahap from restaurant was super kind!

This hotel is the best hotel in the area for me and my family, we are here for the second year in a row and we will come again for years to come, our favorite restaurant is Italian, the staff is perfect(Abdulvahap) is the big boss throughout the hotel, they always help when they can in everything Kamil, Sevval and of course everyone else
