I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding my recent stay at your hotel, booked through MakeMyTrip for the dates 16th to 17th April.
Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that the room allocated was located inside the lounge area, which raised serious privacy concerns for my family and me. I had raised this issue with MMT immediately, but the hotel suggested that we upgrade the room—something we did not consider feasible, as we had booked well in advance with the expectation of better pricing and a comfortable stay.
Additionally, we never requested any special food arrangements like tea or bread for our child, considering we had to leave early. However, our request for a basic breakfast was refused. Surprisingly, the next morning, we were provided with breakfast (vegetarian sandwich and paratha), which our child managed to eat. When I discussed this discrepancy with the hotel manager, I was informed that since we didn’t upgrade our room, we wouldn’t be provided with better breakfast options. I found this response to be extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
As a result of this poor experience, I had to cancel my booking for 18th–19th April, which severely disrupted our trip and affected our anniversary plans.
I had higher expectations from the hotel and from MakeMyTrip in terms of service and hospitality
