Riverview Cabins

Very peaceful settting. The cabin was just the right size. Check in was easy and the owner was very nice

Beautiful location right over the river, little noisy with the train coming through multiple times a night but didn't really bother me, just said it for any light sleepers out there. I will definitely be booking here again in the future! Family lives about half hour from here so it was perfect for us!

The cabin is cute and may be a good place to stay in the summer but it is NOT a good choice for winter unless some updates are made. 1. It was 8* outside and the window were not covered well. You could feel cold air blowing into the house. Thankfully, my mom packs everything and we duct taped blankets over the door and windows. 2. Both space heaters in the living room were apparently for looks and decoration because they didnt put out any heat. There was a leg broken on each one and they both kept falling over. We had to unplug them while we slept for our safety. 3. The heater worked better in the bedroom. I wish we had had more of these. When I woke up this morning and went to the living room...I could see my breath it was so cold. 4. No cooking supplies in the "kitchen". We brought food to cook so we could save money and there were two burners on the stove but NO trying pans, pots or spatulas. We wound up eating out for dinner and breakfast the next morning. There were some plates in the cabinet...but only ONE spoon! No other silverware to be found. 5. There were HUGE cobwebs in the kitchen and the blinds were very dirty. The blankets need to be tossed because they are very old. 6. Lots of broken items: the chair in the kitchen had broken legs and couldnt be use. Broken legs on the space heaters. Couch needs to be replaced. 7. Problems with the toilet flushing. It was a process to get it to flush everytime and this was with putting the toilet paper in the trash.

No stove and we brought an extra heater still wasn't enough. The staff was nice rented for 3 days 2 nights stayed one night and got motel at days inn

Weather was 25°, heating was very inadequate to obtain adequate temp, very uncomfortable. Kitchen light not working, one burner of 2 burner cooktop not working, kitchenette unit - not enough plates, serving utensils, no pots and pans, etc. Bedroom - one bunkbed had one mattress support board hanging down with 2 nails sticking out. The unit walls had cracks to outside that let cold wind blow through. Bathroom has black mold ceiling and other areas. I thought ******* reviewed their properties, but I guess not, at least not adequately. We booked for 2 nights, left after the first night and lost our money. Don't trust Expedia's property ratings. We don’t anymore.

Bad experience bugs in the cabin no heat stove did not work fell through the bed and cut my self the bottom was rotted out only a 100$ a night but unfortunately will not come back
