Hotel in zona Interaxcity, Malvern

It could be a very nice flat, it's a bit dated and needs some love. TV was dicky, instructions were useless, not for that TV, advertises free high speed wifi, couldn't connect, all that came up was the office printer, so no wifi for two days. Nice kitchen but light on with utensils etc. Dicky wiring in the lounge, the TV keep cutting out, power points are in the skirting boards low to floor, so they're useless in the bedrooms if your chargers are long or the ports are at the bottom and not the side.. Bathroom was dated and a bit shabby, shower in the bath which is fine, but no handrails, and dated glass screens, so stepping down on to glossy wet tiles is a potential slipping hazard. Sp****ly and blandly furnished, the lounge suite was nice enough but very low which made it difficult to get in and out of, even for the vertically challenged person. Good sized fridge but blown light globes in kitchen. It can be noisy at night in the courtyard. Supermarket nearby and 711, which is convenient. It's advertised as serviced apartments, but the minimum must be more than 2 days, we had no servicing at all. Not the worst place I've stayed at but it was a bit disappointing for the money. Staff were okay but the cleaner got antsy because we weren't moving quickly enough even though checkout was 10. We cleaned the place ourselves anyway.

Io mi fermo qui regolarmente quando in città perché la posizione è grande e il gruppo Accor si impegna a pratiche di pulizia sicure di Covid. In questo soggiorno, c'erano ventosi molto alti e ho scoperto che l'edificio ha un problema unico di venti. Le strade ”cantano” con un bastone altamente picchiato attraverso i venti. Non preoccuparti, le camere hanno porte di fuoco e il momento in cui la porta alla stanza è chiusa, il suono è bloccato. Nel mio caso, il piccolo meccanismo al fondo della porta non si era chiuso, il che significava che il suono continuava. Il concierge ha immediatamente cambiato la mia stanza - brillante! L'unica questione era che ci sono molte impronte sul retro delle lamiere di mano, quindi li ho puliti tutti da me. Inoltre, sono stato verbalmente molestato da un ospite per aver scelto di indossare una maschera nell'ascensore. Non è colpa di Sebel, è solo una fine deludente per un bellissimo soggiorno.

Questo è un posto fantastico per soggiornare. Confortabile, spazioso e attraente. Mi piace il balcone privato. Il personale è amichevole, cortese e utile. Ci era così tanto fascino e carattere! I giardini sono bellissimi. Anche il ristorante nelle stanze era meraviglioso.Un trattamento inaspettato.

Per la seconda volta ci siamo fermati qui perché ci preparavamo la nostra casa per la vendita. Vicino alla scuola dei nostri figli e alla stazione ferroviaria di Camberwell. Tutti e due ci siamo stati consegnati un appartamento che si trovava di fronte alla pista (indietro) non si trovava di fronte alla stazione di benzina o alla stazione di Camberwell. Quindi era tranquillo e privato. La pulizia era ok. Vogliono davvero aereare l'appartamento perche' puzza sempre di cibo. I letti sono OK. Buono abbastanza. La posizione è grande per noi. Il parcheggio è sicuro, ma un supplemento di $10/day. La cucina è ok. Un po'piccola. Lavatrice è troppo piccola. Le piastre da pranzo sono troppo grandi per lavatrice! Non dove asciugare i piatti quando lavato manualmente. Lavatrice disponibile. Non c'è asciugatrice o sala da asciugare. Potrebbe sentire la gente che si tormenta dalla nostra sala da pranzo. Janet era brava, non la più amica, sarebbe rimasto qui per la posizione. Meglio di Quest Apartments!

The building is only a few years old but already showing early signs of wear in public areas. However the room itself was very clean and well designed. We stayed in a base rate room and while on the smaller side was ample space for what we needed. The king bed was very comfortable and the shower was spacious and great pressure. A coffee machine with pods is provided. Access to the hotel from the west is extremely easy but if you are approaching from the east there is no way to turn right into the hotel and you have to go a fair way down the road before you can turn around and come all the way back. Once on property there is a nice curved driveway to park while you are checking in. Parking onsite was $35 but as I had read these reviews I knew to ask about the street parking and was told it would cost $15. I said ‘I thought on the weekends it was free’ and they responded ‘oh yes, we can give you complimentary parking’ (Haha). The staff were very friendly. The street parking is on the street along the nearby river (Yarra Blvd) and takes 1 min to walk across a grass parkland to this street. On the weekend it seemed a very quiet street and safe to park. This street parking is metered parking between 8am-5pm Mon- Fri so the hotel can provide a pass for $15 but if your stay is outside these hours you can park for free. The tram station is immediately out the front of this hotel so although it is a fair way from the CBD it is easy access to Melbourne. Our T.V. remote was not working (maybe old batteries) so we were unable to watch T.V. and the clock beside the bed lit up the time while the lights were on but seemed to be light activated because once all lights were switched of it also switched off so you could not see the time during the night - so keep your phone clock handy.
