This hotel is the newer sister location to the Sintra Marmoris Palace, and is smaller and closer to the town center. The two hotels are run by the same family, and are more or less treated as the same hotel as both have access to the same amenities. This hotel was the most memorable stay in our 2.5 weeks in Portugal. There are only 9 rooms which made the experience feel more like a luxurious B&B than a hotel. The marble floor and walls, and high ceilings made the space feel much bigger and open. Plenty of windows overlooked the valley. Rooms were impeccably clean with new crisp white linens and towels. Complementary Nespresso, and traditional wine was included. WiFi was faster than our hotels in Lisbon and Porto. One thing to note is the bed size - the website doesn't specify what size you're getting. We noticed that many hotels use the terms 'twin', 'double' or 'queen.' In our room (Deluxe Room with Valley View), we had a King Sized Bed. As a guest, you will receive a complimentary wine & cheese tasting each night of your stay at the Sintra Marmoris Palace (10 minute walk). They alternate between a live Fado or Magician performance. On our night, we arrived early and explored the botanical gardens before enjoying the Fado performance which was very memorable. Breakfast was very generous. There was a detailed list of options you can select from the night before (fill out a form). While many hotels provide a breakfast buffet, I didn't mind preselecting breakfast at all - they cook hot items to order, and provide a personalized service while minimizing food waste. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying at the Sintra Marmoris Camelia. The family is very kind, hospitable, and we felt right at home. The amenities made this an incredible value. We wished we had stayed longer in Sintra!
