The Altis hotel is a lovely hotel to stay in whilst in Malia, conveniently located close to the main Malia ***** (around a 5min walk) but far enough so you still get a good night's sleep. Also walkable to the bars and resteraunts in stalis (around a 20-25min walk) so you have the choice of the partying in Malia or the more laid back quieter area in stalis. The beach is (around a 5-10min walk) The staff were very welcoming and friendly and were always on hand to answer any questions and provide their assistance in a professional courteous manner. The room was a decent size the beds were very comfortable which made for a good night's sleep. The balcony was pleasant overlooking the well kept garden area of the hotel. The bathroom had a decent shower with good water pressure and temperature you just have to be careful when using it as the water easily went on the floor but there was a bathroom mat provided. The swimming pool area was delightful, clean and a lovely area to relax in the sun and enjoy a swim in the pool which for the size of the hotel was more than big enough. Fortunately the pool was rarely busy during our stay and a lot of the time it was like having a private pool, amazing! Drinks and snacks are available to purchase at the bar to have by the pool. The beer was served in ice cold glasses and a little bowl of nuts or crisps provided each time was a nice touch. The breakfast was served between 7.30 & 9.30 a nice selection of cereals, yogurts, continental style choice and a plate of fresh fruit provided which was lovely. A selection of juices tea and coffee with biscuits and sweets. Plenty to choose from. Check out is at 12.00 the staff kindly allowed us to leave our luggage as we had a late transfer home. We was offered the use of the pool and the outdoor shower area after we had checked out and there was a changing area inside the hotel downstairs so we could still enjoy our last day and use the facilities. I would definitely stay here again and really enjoyed my experience at the Altis hotel

Great hotel 5 minutes from Malias buisy street, clean rooms, nice owners who always smiled and wanted to be at our service at all times.The showers are a little small and the bathrooms is all soaked after showering. The breakfast was fresh with many things to chose from, fresh fruits are served every day. The hotell also have a bar were you can buy fresh cols drinks and some food (greek salad, pizza, chips etc). We had a great time, my husband and I. We were there for 2 weeks. I highly recommend this hotel for other couples.

If you are looking for relaxing and quiet place to stay, still near to the beach and markets, this is your place. The hotel owning family was the most welcoming and friendly, it was heartwarming how well they treated every guest. Beds were great! Breakfast was a bit basic: different kind of toasts, ham, cheese, vegetables, boiled eggs, greek yoghurt, mysli, and plate of fruits brought to the tables. Also coffee, tea and juice.

We spent a holidayweek in this hotel and I have nothin to complain! The owners were friendly ja helpful, hotel was clean and cozy, and backyard with pool was really nice. Also the hotel is located nearby sea, shops and restaurants.

Me and my friend stayed one week and we really liked . Hotel was cute, clean and quiet. Hotels garden was beautiful =) Hotel located close to the beach and restaurants. The family who run hotel was friendly and helpful. Really recommend.
