The Sphere Serviced Residences Managed by HII

My family has been travelling together in the Philippines. The staff and guard are very welcoming. We requested to be placed on the same floor, as we checked in together. The staff said we were unable to be placed on the same floor due to separate bookings. We then had to request key card access to each other’s floor. We requested two twin beds on the booking, however we received one queen bed consisting of two twin beds pushed together. Don’t forget to read the shower instructions above eye level. The shower could be cleaner with what looks like mold in the grout. Only one bottle of drinking water is complimentary. You will be charged for the second bottle if used. The elevator closes too quickly and the sensors don’t detect an obstruction until physical contact. Residents are skilled at holding the “open door” button. The women’s restroom didn’t have working bidet or toilet paper on the 9th floor pool and gym. The pool drain grates are visibly unkept. The hotel has a very nice fully equipped gym. The treadmills are connected to power amplifiers. Both treadmills and the elliptical were plugged into the same amplifier, while one of the treadmills should have been plugged into the second amplifier. The amplifier was overloaded the and another resident sprinting on the treadmill emergency stopped mid sprint because his treadmill lost power. He left the gym upset and the situation posed a safety hazard. Overall, the hotel is a good price for the quality. The beds are soft with fluffy pillows. The location is close to the Makati Greenbelt.

I had a great stay, everything is complete. Staff are verg professional and accommodation. Amenities & facilities are remarkably complete & clean as well. Thank you!

Nice hotel . Not far from airport

Stayed with family for 2nights. Living room is very spacious giving the kids a lot of room to move and play. Indoor pool so even when they swam until noon, no worries of sunburn. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is great being in the middle of Makati CBD. You can just walk and get access to a lot of stores and restos.

My friend asked me a favor to book a hotel in Ortigas as she is coming from a night flight to renew her China visa.. instead of following her, I recommended her this hotel as I saw it’s near the embassy and photos and videos show the room and bed looks clean. Unfortunately, they gave them a horrible quality of bed! They can’t sleep due to feeling of something is biting them But since they are tired and don’t want to make a fuzz they did not inform me or the hotel.. I’m the one who booked them so I feel bad that I turned them down thru bad quality of hotel which I assume to be nice. The hotel did not give anything to compensate what we pay instead they said that No one complained. I think for the price of 4400 it’s their responsibility to make sure to provide a quality lines on the 1st place. So PLEASE Be AWARE and Stay Away from THIS CRAP 💩 and save your self from headache Don’t book on this hotel, as they charge a lot and gave my friends a bed that gave them itchy feeling as they lie down

I had a great stay at The Sphere Serviced Residences. It is a good choice for business travelers who need a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Makati. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high class hotel in this area.

Pretty basic room but the aircon is old and noisy. Location wise its really convenient but cleanliness could be better there were a few cockroaches

Room was old. Smelt damp when we got in. Wear and tear was very evident. The AC had a damp smell. Similar to my last visit with the AC and damp room, I got sick as I was leaving which I did the last visit with similar circumstances in another property. Really put me off visiting Manila again. Pool and gym area was a mess with a lot of work going on. Location was OK i guess. Could walk to many places nearby for food, shops etc.

The staff at the front desk were very nice , it is great value for money, good location!
