We booked three nights at these apartments (after getting married in Sorrento) on arrival we got told that we had been upgraded to a sea view… lovey! It’s about 500m walk from where you collect the keys so be prepared to drag your cases along the street. On arrival at our apartment it seemed clean, bathrooms in major need of updating. Big spacious bedrooms, kitchen fine. Living room, we didn’t use once as we always sat on the balcony. So….. moving back to the bathroom, the water is never hot, it’s warm but not hot. The bath is stained and needs ripping out. We were also greeted to a ceiling that was flaking, falling apart, all over the floor and into the bathroom. We contacted reception and said that they would send the maintenance man out in the morning to access the situation. He came, looked at it and left. Didn’t even clean up the mess that was on the floor. I was told via text that we could move apartments, I explained that I didn’t want to repack and drag our cases along with two young children to another apartment when we were only there for a short stay. If this was a upgraded apartment I dread to think what a standard apartment would have been like. When I checked out I was told they didn’t know there was a problem with the apartment and the owner hadn’t informed them, however, I find this hard to believe, if you are selling these apartments surely you should know what state they are in. The girl on reception was very nice (at the time) and said she would contact the owner and would sort a refund out of some kind and contact me as she didn’t have “cash” on site! She said she would WhatsApp Me. I heard nothing from them until I contact them and the response I got was rude and blunt- basically saying we offered to move you so no refund. I can’t understand why you would put guests into a apartment that had ceiling damage- it was also in the bedroom , not as bad but still bad enough to find ceiling bits that had fallen into my make up case. They didn’t clean up the mess or try to repair it, babies and toddlers could easily pick it up and eat it as it continues to flake throughout the day. I am completely shocked how someone can be shocked and ask me to send them photos of the damage and offer a refund then when we were out of site be so rude and not follow through with what they offered. If you want my advise, don’t stay here especially in room 107 because From my experience it’s not going to get sorted quickly as they said it’s a insurance claim.
