"I am really, really disappointed with my stay and the service at this accommodation. I booked an apartment suite for the period from April 6th to April 19th, 2024 for a price of over EUR 1900.00. I needed accommodation to be able to take the written exams for my second state examination in Mainz. I told the service staff this before I arrived. Unfortunately, my companion and I could hardly sleep in the first apartment. It was extremely hot and extremely loud. After consultation, we were able to move into another apartment. Unfortunately, this one stank extremely of smoke and men's perfume. The smell was almost unbearable and led to migraine attacks. The ventilation in the bathroom also didn't work. According to the service staff, this is because "foreigners" would book in there to hide their ID cards. He then searched the entire room for possible ID cards. But he didn't find any. Then we had to change rooms again. Finally, my companion also had to pay for the cleaning that was necessary because of the move. The building is really beautiful and the cleaners were also very polite and friendly. Overall, however, the stay was a disaster! Unfortunately, I would not recommend it. I deeply regret not choosing the Hyatt. The price was the same."

"Property was conveniently located for my job. Was within easy walking distance of downtown and also right off of a tram stop. Breakfast was average. Rooms were comfortable but largely forgettable in terms of furnishings/art. Front desk staff were generally helpful ACCEPT for the lady who checked me in. I don't speak German and she seemed to go out of her way to not make an effort to help me complete their required checkin paperwork on an IPAD. It had a small icon for choosing language which she did not point out to me and which I missed. She had ample time to note I was struggling with completing the form but seemed to delight in my foibles. I'm an experienced international traveler and I do make an effort to communicate in the native language. She on the other hand was not so inclined. "
