Avoid Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar at All Costs! I was made to leave the hotel with a refund because they couldn’t fix the AC and wifi. Here's what went down - I had the misfortune of attempting to stay at Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar on March 14th, but due to the hotel's screw ups, I was forced to leave on the very same day. Despite checking in at 12:30 pm, the hotel failed to provide me with a functional room till 6 pm. The Wi-Fi (in a dead mobile network part of the property) and AC didn't work, and even after being moved to another room, the AC still didn't cool. The most appalling part was the hotel staff's (Manager Khan and Vanshika) casual and dismissive approach to my complaints. When I brought these issues to their attention, they would disappear after saying pls wait for 5-10 mins at the reception and that stretched for 6 hours and their last solution was to offer a refund and leave! Yes, you read that right - they essentially told me there are no rooms so take your money and go find another hotel. When I lost my cool after 6 hours, they tried to attempt to rectify the situation by searching for a nearby hotel but as expected they were useless. Oh yes, they said please come the next day to have dinner on the house and use the pool. YES! This experience was a shocking display of lack of planning, training, and customer-centricity within the staff. I share this disastrous experience so that others are aware of the subpar service they can expect from Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar. The final insult was that none of the staff members even bothered to see us off at the gate, a basic courtesy that even a 2 star hotel would extend to guests who have had such a terrible experience.
