The Hotel Santo Mauro invites you on a journey in Madrid in the 19th century, at the home of the influential Duke of Santo Mauro. With its French-influenced design and architecture, our 5-star, historic hotel in Madrid consists of three buildings set in a sophisticated private garden, with fountains and terraces shaded by ancient chestnut trees. The guest rooms are full of special details and historical references that immerse you in the past. Each public room is unique: The Red Room reflects pure French Classicism, while the oriental pieces in the Chinese Lounge recall the objects the Duke used to collect on his travels. The Wine Bar offers an extensive list of wines and small dishes, while the main restaurant, housed in the Duke's former Library, offers a level of cuisine commensurate with its palatial setting. What an enjoyable stay at the Santo Mauro Hotel in Madrid. The swimming pool was not available but everything else was perfect.

Very exceptional hotel with big rooms and great staff. But there were downsides like: there was no Gym. The location is not good for visitors. There was no buffet for breakfast although price was high

早餐可以坐在室外也可以坐在裏面的圖書館房間 拍照很好看也很好吃 環境很好 服務人員也不錯 就是房間有些小 價格偏高

Le aspettative erano alte ma ancor più piacevole ê stato il soggiorno ! Elegante, ben curato, tutto lo staff gentilissimo, attento e sempre presente. La suite bellissima ! Il bar ed il ristorante impeccabili. Bravissimi !

L ‘hotel è una villa con giardino .Gli ambienti sono arredati in maniera curatissima e risultano estremamente accoglienti, il servizio è al top, cibo ottimo….mi auguro solo di poterci tornare al più presto

This was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. Everything was superb from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. It’s a relatively small boutique luxury hotel set in an old royal palace. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. The lobby is elegant, yet quaint, with nice seating areas to relax or to have a drink. The inside restaurant is set in an impressive library. The outside restaurant is set in a beautiful courtyard. It has the ambiance of a countryside chateau. The service throughout our stay was outstanding in every way. The staff knew us by name, were extremely friendly, and consistently went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They helped with directions, recommendations, transportation, and reservations. We can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience, and will definitely look to stay here again if we return to Madrid.

Located in an upscale neighborhood but also around the corner from small boutiques and cafes, this hotel is a stunner. The hotel was recently renovated in an opulent manner, reminiscent of the belle epoch, yet it feels fresh and modern. The staff are genuinely helpful, friendly and efficient. Unbeknownst to us, they realized it was my daughter's birthday and left balloons and a small cake in our room. Attention to detail does not get any better than that. A plus for me - it is not in the tourist hub-bub area of Madrid but the Prada and Thiessen were a nice stroll away for those who enjoy walking. Also the grounds encompassed lovely green spaces for out-door tea or cocktails. Obviously I will return.

An intimate, luxurious hotel in a wonderful Madrid neighborhood. Quiet room, soft comfy bed and fluffy pillows. Staff are highly responsive and attentive. Extraordinary service. We shared a light dinner that was ok, and had a light breakfast that was good. This was a nice stay to end our long visit in Spain.
