The Ryles Arms

Visited today for my mums birthday.. My second visit and it was just as good as the first. Excellent Food. Excellent Service. Cant fault The Ryles Arms at all. Will be going again.

Second visit here Dine and Stay. It was as good, if not better, than our last visit. Food is just fantastic. Staff are fantastic. Pub and accommodation is fantastic. Absolutely will be returning again. Cannot recommend highly enough. Standards are very high. The Brownlow (sister pub in Smallwood) is just as good too.

Lovely anniversary lunch after we had done the Macclesfield Alpaca walk 5 minutes up the road! Beautiful pies- lamb and steak& kidney both sampled and hugely filled with tasty ingredients- no air ha ha! We somehow managed to squeeze 2 ice cream sundaes in afterwards which were also delicious! A really friendly welcome on arrival, helpful, attentive staff to serve and a very nicely furnished environment too- a total winner! Definitely coming again!

Chelsea, Rain and Libby were our team for our overnight stay and dine. All, gave a wonderful customer experience. The room was fab and the offer in the restaurant was excellent!! I remember visiting this pub in the 80’s when chicken in the basket was at its height haha! What a transformation this place has been through…… great food, staff and ambience. My wife and i will be back in the future. Thank you Tj for our Dine and Stay. A Christmas present truly appreciated!

It was my friend's 66th Birthday so we decided to go to the Ryles arms for a special night as he officially retired this week. We had a starter of antipasti with bread and olives which was really nice. Main course My friends had the Beef Wellington which was served as individual portions about five small portions which was a nice idea. I had the Beef Stroganoff with rice and chips and garlic bread I could'nt eat it all and was offered a doggy bag. The serving staff were attentive and efficient and our server was always smiling . My only minus point was no cheese and biscuits I did ask but not available which was a shame after a first class meal.

Amazing food, the pie especially! cooked perfectly. Great and attentive service. Large portion sizes so only needed to get a main meal. Lovely restaurant the blonde waitress was very helpful aswell though they all were. would recommend and will be back.
