Offshore - the Inn Collection Group

Self check in which was very different as obviously no communication from any staff. Straight forward. Great security upto the rooms, beds so comfy and great bathroom, iron and ironing board very handy. Just felt at breakfast no system we wasn't sure what to do, cold selection good at breakfast, just felt hot breakfast sausage was a let down and the bacon seemed very cheap. Serve till later so can have a lie in. Parking on site and opposite for free. We took a taxi to lytham itself £12.50 each way some great bars there too. Stunning views with the hotel and quiet

After visiting in the Autumn I decided to take my family (including our 4 year old) here this evening as my wife was going to the cinema nearby. We ordered 2 Pizzas and a child’s Chicken Goujons and Chips at 17:54 pm, with the final dish arriving at 7:00 pm! After complaining after patiently waiting 45 minutes (and as we had seen other people that had ordered after us being served their food) we were told it was coming. Another 10 minutes passed and we had to enquire again and complained only to be told that the restaurant was very busy. There was no indication of any delay when we ordered earlier and if we had been informed of likely delays we would have gone elsewhere. We were told one of the pizzas was ready and they were just waiting for mine to bake, at which point I asked the to bring what food they had ready out to the table as we couldn’t wait any longer. My wife left after finishing her meal leaving my daughter and I to finish our meals alone. The restaurant did try to make amends and brought my daughter and I free drinks, which was welcomed but not a great experience and unlikely I would return for food again.

Had a lovely one night stay, food and service great. Self check in is a little frustrating as plenty of staff doing nothing but they don't offer to help. Also the rooms are warm, but in summer I'd assume they will be a bit too warm.

Just returned from a lovely weekend break at this Inn/Hotel Our sea view room was well appointed,warm and very comfortable albeit a tad small the staff were very friendly and accommodating, an example of which is when the tv in our room stopped working the matter was very quickly resolved Throughout our stay the food was excellent but service was a tad slow The daytime lite bites menu was very good and the evening menu definitely catered for all tastes The bar/ dining area was very busy during the evenings with lots of walk in diners so because of this we reserved a table for 8.15pm on our second night, unfortunately when we went down to dinner that evening we found that 4 people were mid way through their meal on the table we had reserved which we found to be very disappointing and because of this we struggled to find a table to dine on Perhaps the management should prioritise dining for residents over walk ins and definitely ensure residents reserved tables are just that !!! Overall we had a great stay at The Offshore and despite the small glitch on the 2nd night we would definitely stay there again

Review left on behalf of my parents.The hotel was a pleasure to stay at after staying at a neighbouring one in the chain. Staff couldn't do enough for you and the food was delicious. Our only downfall was we wished we could have stayed longer but will definitely come back. Thanks to chris who always went out of his way to check we were OK.
