I booked a studio apartment with a double bed for one night specifically to avoid twin beds, as comfort was a priority. Upon arrival at around 8 PM, everything appeared fine at first glance. However, when we got into bed around 3–4 AM (exhausted after a long day), we discovered that the “double bed” was actually two single beds pushed together with an uncomfortable gap in the middle. This made it impossible to sleep well, and we had a terrible night. The issue was reported to the customer service team the following day, who acknowledged their mistake. However, instead of apologizing sincerely, they accused us of not reporting the issue sooner, as if it was our responsibility to rectify their failure. Their response was dismissive and rude. The bed setup should have been correct in the first place, especially when I had carefully booked a double bed. Even more frustrating, the customer service team stated they had vacant suites that night and could have moved us – but how were we to know this, or contact them, at 3 AM when we were already exhausted? Instead of taking responsibility, they shifted the blame onto us, which is simply unacceptable. I was offered a 20% discount for a future stay, but frankly, after such an experience, I am not inclined to return. This experience highlights a lack of attention to detail and poor customer service. If you value honesty, comfort, and respect as a guest, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend this property based on this experience.
