Charming hosts, pleasant room/property, off-road parking (a big deal in Linton), and just a few steps from fantastic walking paths!

Just returned from a lovely 3 day walking break . A great location for walking . Valley of the rocks and Watersmeet not to be missed . Hosts are lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Spotlessly clean, pretty room , great freshly cooked breakfast. Also not far from pretty town with nice selection of shops and restaurants.

We both can not fault Chris and Leslie hosting at The Denes hosting. They both went above and beyond to make us feel extremely welcome, had exceptional knowledge on the walks around the local area. There was gluten free biscuits and chocolate in our room. Which was a lovely personal touch. Great value for money. Would definitely book again!!!

Wonderful accommodation in an ideal location if you wish to explore the area for walking. Ideal as no need to move the car if you want to walk the SW Coast Path in the area around, Lynton and, Lymouth and further afield. Chris and Lesley were so helpful and friendly providing suggestions for both where to eat locally, and walks, printing out rsuggested routes for us. The breakfasts were lovely, and we couldn't fault our stay at all. Would recommend anyone to stay there if in North Devon. Thank you.

Lovely stay at the Denes for a weekend. Such a omfortable room, and my daughters gluten free requirements were taken care of so well. We even had gluten free biscuits on our tea tray. Thank you Chris and Lesley for making our stay so perfect despite the weather!

We booked the Denes for a couple of nights stay in Lynton and it was a very good choice. The rooms were spotless, plenty big enough and had everything we wanted. The breakfast was excellent, the service spot on and Chris and Lesley were excellent hosts and a pleasure to talk with. We went to the arts and crafts Lesley and were very impressed with what we saw especially the lovely cards you made. We hope we can come your way again.

We had an amazing stay at The Denes! Chris and Lesley are wonderful hosts and made us feel at home. They gave us great recommendations for dining as well as walking trails. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was also great! I would stay again!

The Denes is the perfect place to stay. Located in a serene, peaceful setting only a 5 minute walk away from the Valley of the Rocks. My room was immaculate, spacious, light, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The hosts Chris and Lesley were warm, engaging and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble...they even offered to pick me up after a day of walking the South West coast path when public transport had stopped. Very genuine and kind folk. I would totally recommend staying at the Denes, you will be delighted..

Myself and my partner fancied a night away in Lynton and we're glad we found the Denes Guest House. A lovely place , beautifully decorated room , friendly and welcoming hosts and a wonderful breakfast. Spotlessly clean as well and also they were very accomadating with us about leaving our car in the car park after checking out. Many thanks...
