Village Inn

Food is fantastic, staff are very friendly and have a fantastic sense of humour. Would really recommend a visit. We had 4 meals here and all were amazing, the coffee cake was superb and some of the stories that the staff tell you will leave you stunned.

We went to the village in for a Sunday lunch which was delicious and very filling! Very reasonably priced would recommend! We returned later for a pint to watch Wimbledon and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Myself and my partner and our two dogs popped in for a bite to eat. We loved the pub and Bev and her team were great. Connie was funny and went the extra mile and even ordered me some chips, when they had stopped severing. Great dog friendly pub

Great find. Hubby booked for my birthday and it didn't disappoint. Room light and airy, clean and generously equipped with teas, coffee etc. Sea view and set right in the street. Dog friendly. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, all home cooked. Reasonably priced with generous portions. Definitely recommended and will come back when we can. Thank you!!

A wonderful experience, as usual! Lovely, tasty and reasonably priced food and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be returning when we’re next in Lynmouth. A must-visit for food and drinks.

Stopped here for a lunch after exploring Lynmouth and Lynton whilst on holiday. We’d already called in at another larger establishment further up the road but had left after it was made quite clear to us by a member of staff that they didn’t serve just a snack and a drink at lunchtime! As soon as we walked through the door of the pub we were greeted by a cheery lady bar manager who was extremely helpful and advised us on what was available for lunch and gave us a sample of two local real ales to see which we preferred. She ordered our food and did warn us that it might take a while as everything was freshly made. She also apologised that there was no open fire as she had not received her supply of logs. Overall a very pleasant lunch and we will certainly visit again if and when we are next in the village,oh and prices are very reasonable.
