Christina Studios

The thing that makes the Christina apartments special IS Christina and her husband Spiros. Real genuine hospitality. Rare sometimes nowadays. The apartments are a great base for touring the whole island by car or by local transport. There is a lovely feeling of calm and peace here. If you are looking at Christina apartments for your next holiday ……book it !!

Lygia is a short bus journey from the islands capital; and a bit longer to main resort. Mostly residential but has harbour, beach (would advise swim shoes) and several restaurants and bars - all easily walkable inc some on waterfront. Apartment is on main road but well set back with nice quiet grounds and pool area with small bar. Rooms clean and nicely decorated with balconies. Great little supermarket next door with good range of products.

What a wonderful place to spend your holiday, Christina and Spyros are the most welcoming hosts I have ever come across, nothing is too much trouble and they can not do enough for you. They treated my 3 children (14, 14 and 12) like their own (the pancakes were a firm favourite ) The apartments are extremely clean and very comfortable, cleaned daily and bedding/towels changed every other day, there are also pool towels available on request. If you want a relaxing, happy, stress free holiday, I can not recommend Christina's studios highly enough....I would happily return every year. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home. Christina and Spyros are the perfect hosts, as are all the family. We are a family of three adults and three teenagers, so we had three studios on the ground floor facing the pool. All the rooms were very clean and spotless, which are cleaned every day, and towels and sheets changed every other day. Breakfast is available, with a varied choice of cereals, meats, cheese and pastries, and some cooked items, and not forgetting the pancakes. The pool is large and excellent, especially on the very hot days. The pool bar serves cold drinks and snacks, and are reasonably priced. Ligia has quite a few tavernas and restaurants, and a couple of bars (we recommend the Arts Club) that serve until very late. Buses are available to take you to Lefkada town, or a taxi is around 10 euros. Also you can take the bus to Nidri, about 15/20 minutes. I would recommend hiring a car if you want to see the rest of the island, where the better beaches are. Christina is very helpful, and happy to see to all your needs, and works very hard to give all her guests a memorable stay. Spiros, although he doesn’t speak English, is a very good man, and very funny. All they, and the family ask in return , is a little respect I can’t recommend Christina Studios enough, this is our second visit and hopefully not our last. it is a terrible accomodation!!! do not go here! The man who runs this business is grumpy and does not speak English makes big hand gestures at us when we do something that in his eyes is not right!!!! (we are two young girls of 18 and 16 years old) The air conditioning does not work well it is freezing cold or boiling hot! there were three of us there were two beds and 1 couch!

This was the 2nd time we have come to this hotel.Christina and Spiros took extraordinary care of us - lt was such a great experience that I can’t wait to return. The family were so welcoming and showed us everything there is to know about this wonderful place.

The pool area is great and is open for use 8am to 8pm.The pool is refreshing especially when the weather is very hot. The apartments are cleaned daily and the beds we had were very comfortable . Air conditioning costs 6 euros a day and needed in July. Temperatures when we were there reaching 40 degrees. We mainly bought food from the local supermarket or bakery and ate this for breakfast. The owner is very helpful if you need any imformation. Ligia is a good place to visit in peek season as it is not to busy with a pretty harbour ,some good tavernas and stone beach. We Hired a paddle board plus a 2 seat canoe with life jackets one hour for 10 euros locally. We did ask for a pool veiw apartment but ours faced the mountains facing the other side .This is a pool side apartment. The garden studios are on the other side of the main road. However we had an excellent holiday and would definitely recommend the Christina studios. We had two studio apartments next to each other.

Just returned from a week in Lefkada, staying at Christina Studios. We had a lovely time. Christina and her family were very friendly and welcoming and worked very hard and efficiently to cater for different individual needs . Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. We had a great breakfast each morning in the shade of the pool bar and really enjoyed the variety available. The pool itself was big and very refreshing as the weather was exceptionally hot. Thank you Christina for making our first visit to Lefkada a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
