Hotel in zona Bike Park Boy Konen, Lussemburgo

Wir waren für eine Nacht in Luxemburg und dafür war das Hotel Empire perfekt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und alles wurde schnell und unkompliziert abgewickelt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt mehr als ausreichend. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns sehr überrascht, die Auswahl war liebevoll und von hoher Qualität. Durch die Lage direkt am Hauptbahnhof bzw. einer Hauptverkehrsstraße kann es natürlich mal lauter werden, im 3. Stock war es aber vollkommen OK. Dafür ist alles fußläufig erreichbar und wir waren trotz Parkplatz am „P+R Lux Sud“ mit dem Bus innerhalb von 15 min am Hotel. Gerne wieder!

While it is a bit of a walk from the nearest tram station, the room was amazing. As a well designed physical space 10/10, interior design 10/10. Refrigerator and beautiful mid 20th century design red chairs were a visual knockout. The wall next to the bed had a panel that had to have been a hand painted “mural”, from floor to the ceiling a gentle blue gradation that was a joy to experience from the super comfy bed. I would definitely book a room the next time I visit Luxembourg City.

La posizione è molto buona. Più di dieci minuti a piedi possono raggiungere tutte le principali attrazioni di Lussemburgo.E il parcheggio a terra dell'hotel è molto pieno, c'è un parcheggio sotterraneo e un parcheggio gratuito.Quindi siamo molto convenienti a guidare qui. La stanza è anche molto pulita, il personale della reception è entusiasta, perché ho una multa per il parcheggio a Bruxelles. Non capisco il testo sopra. Il personale della reception è anche molto entusiasta di aiutarmi a vedere e a controllare le informazioni.Molte grazie.

This hotel was chosen due to it's location near to the centre and the station where we would be travelling in from Hamburg. The price was also excellent which included a full buffet every morning. Check-In, We didn't arrive until 19:30 due to late and cancelled DB trains on our way down from Hamburg! It was the fastest check-in we have ever had and we were given our key which also worked the front door of the hotel. Room, 305 was our room for three nights. This was a great sized room with a mini bar and everything you need for a stay including a super-comfy bed. The separate bathroom had a small walk-in shower which on the odd occasion the water flow was a bit 'hit & miss' so to speak!! No big dramas though!! Food, The food at this hotel is excellent! La Locanda is the hotels restaurant where you have your breakfast. There was a good choice of hot and cold buffet items to set you up for the day and you could eat what you wanted. We did have two evening meals here as well which were fantastic to say the least! My 'Calzone' pizza was absolutely sublime to say the least and the portion size's were huge!! Go with an empty stomach!! Overall, A well located hotel for Luxembourg City! The price is right for this beautiful city and country. There are plenty of buses into town right outside the hotel which the 29 takes you right outside the train station. Make use of the public transport, as at this moment in time it is free to use in the whole country.

Servizio caldo, attento e gentile da parte del personale dell'ufficio di fronte (Olivier, Eva, Raquel e Keir: grazie). La stanza era molto pulita, non una traccia di polvere. Abbiamo amato la combinazione di un bagno e una doccia separata. Qualitative attrezzature presenti. La colazione aveva tutto quello che ci serviva.Abbiamo ricevuto un buono per un drink per il mio compleanno.

Siamo stati una famiglia di 4 persone che hanno soggiornato in 2 camere da regina al 18° piano per 2 notti, e mi permetta di dire che ho solo grandi cose da dire su questo hotel. In primo luogo, la posizione non era problema per noi, poiché il trasporto pubblico è gratuito e l'autobus ci ha caduto circa 3-4 minuti a piedi dall'hotel; è circa 30 minuti alla capitale, ma l'autobus è regolare e non abbiamo avuto problemi. In secondo luogo, le camere erano molto grandi e pulite, le toilette erano ancora migliori e avevano un bagno raro. Il personale del desk front was so nice; I didn't catch their name but we were offered cookies as soon as we check in at the reception and they were always so kind and helpful. La piscina era aperta e siamo andati la sera per provare la piscina e c'erano solo 2 altri e è stato bello avere una rapida dip in piscina (siamo stati persi cercando di trovarla ma è necessario solo andare attraverso il ginnastica alla bagno per accedere alla zona di nuoto!) Il colazione è stato delizioso, soprattutto le uova yum e una vasta gamma di cibo/bevande. Stiamo facendo un viaggio in Europa e, da lontano, questo è stato il miglior hotel che abbiamo soggiornato per tutta la vita! Si consiglia di prenotare con questo hotel se hai qualche dubbio.

Siamo molto soddisfatti del nostro soggiorno. La camera era molto pulita e accogliente. Accoglienza cordiale e colazione molto buona. Posizione molto comoda. C'è una fermata dell'autobus appena fuori dall'hotel, puoi andare ovunque con il trasporto gratuito in Lussemburgo. Hanno una navetta aeroportuale gratuita, l'hotel è molto vicino all'aeroporto che potrebbe richiedere un massimo di 5 minuti.

Personnel are very friendly. Ready to help any time. Breakfast was delicious. Saturday and Sunday you can have breakfast until noon which was very convenient as my training finished early morning I had enough time to sleep and had late breakfast. View from gym is marvelous.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend and/or stay again. In detail: - My partner and I stayed here during summer holidays. It was a mixed business & leisure trip. I worked in the lobby/restaurant for 2 days and Wifi was great throughout the entire hotel (no glitched, no loss of connection during conference calls). - All staff was very friendly and helpful. From the people at the reception, to the cleaning personal, as soon as we had a question, they helped us. - The rooms are also very modern, clean and with quiet AC(airco). I would even suggest to the hotel that it’s not needed to renew all towels every day. I’m ok with using my towel for a few days. ;) - Breakfast is ok. It’s all there (cheeses, meats, fruit, yoghurt, cornflakes, coffee, tea, milk, juices, eggs, toast & croissants.). It is fresh and tasty, but don’t expect a lavish brunch. I read some of the previous reviews and sometimes people need to manage their own expectations. ;) As it is a new hotel, some suggestions I would like to bring to hotel management: - I was missing a tiny fridge in the room. Luckily the staff stored our food in the kitchen, but I felt a bit guilty asking for it every morning. - I would invest in an AC in the breakfast room. It’s a very nice space, filled with light, but that also means that during summer it gets quite warm. Nonetheless: definitely worth a stay when visiting Luxembourg! Extra tip! Go visit the brewery next door + tasting and ask for Eric. Eric was our tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable and like to share his stories, which for us made sure we had a great time! Also the beer is good (bonus, haha). :P

Che delusione, il personale che prima era così simpatico è oggi dei più sgradevoli a parte la ricezione. Abbiamo preso dei caffè al bar lounge alle 16:00, quando siamo venuti per l’aperitivo alle 19:00, le tazze non erano ancora state sbarazzate, questo nonostante il fatto che tra le 17:00 e le 19:00 non c’era davvero grande mondo da servire. Al ristorante, il server è di una condescendenza fuori norma, scherzoso e poco piacevole. Il pranzo era buono, a parte un’entrata immangiabile, un paste suri che ha pensato aveva trascorso la data di scadenza da un momento ... Che triste di non avere una carta dei vini lussemburghesi (come era il caso prima) Il ristorante è stato in grado di produrre più prodotti del terreno. Il colazione è perso in qualità, il salmone fumato è spesso e pieno di pelle e grasso, le uova infettate in vacuo, i pancake, della carta. Senza parlare del personale, così aggressivo e insoddisfacente, una giovane ragazza che si trova sul muro aspetta guardando i clienti con disprezzo. Questo hotel non è più quello che era, la gestione alla francese, gli ha tolto tutta la sua anima, è davvero un peccato. Il servizio là è meno buono che in un ibis budget, che spreco. Il tempo è di mettere un manager degno di nome che sarà su tutti i fronti ( presente e investito), in grado di garantire il benessere del suo personale. Forse les employés auront alors le sourire et l’ambition de travailler...
