The Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel

酒店就在Loch Lomond邊，Luss就在旁邊，純度假的地方，靜謐，風景如畫。酒店的房間應該都是對着湖，但設施明顯有點舊。不過，整體可以。酒店前台讓我們下車的地方叫不到出租，業務呵呵。大概都是自駕來的吧。

My daughter’s wedding, words not enough. The room we had looked onto the loch amazing view balcony to sit out and watch the boats . Where do I start, the room was spacious and very clean. The staff from reception right through to the waiters in fact all staff made the wedding a day to remember and it was a day to remember ,nothing was any bother, always smiling even after a long hard day.they were just amazing. The wedding planner and staff were fantastic.everything went plain sailing and again staff were there all round to sort everyone. Meals were out on time . The wedding meals were beautiful lots of it too. Not one person complained about there meal. Every one of the guests came to us to say it was the best wedding and service they have had. The hotel breakfast and meals were brilliant definitely local,produce and freshly made very tasty and plenty of it, there was continental as well as fried and a lot of choice for the main breakfast well cooked just amazing. Not sure why there is one and 2 start reviews. I would have given more if I could. The perfect place for your wedding reception you will not be disappointed.

I had a wonderful stay at the lodge on loch lomond. From the moment we arrived the staff were wonderful. My treatment at the spa was the best I have ever had. The room was spacious with spectacular views of the loch and the bed was devine. I would highly recommend!

We were here for a wedding and arrived the night before. My daughter’s experience of the staff in the lead up to her wedding and on the day was absolutely fantastic-helpful, friendly and happy to help in any way possible. I had an accessible room which overlooked the loch with a balcony which was beautiful as we had fantastic weather. The ceiling fan was great at circulating the air. The staff at reception were really helpful during our stay and happily arranged help for me to get my luggage from my car to my room and back when I was leaving. We had dinner the night before and all enjoyed our food and presentation was great. I was impressed as one of our number has a serious allergy and the waiter was knowledgeable and careful to make sure everything was ok for him. Everything on the day went like clockwork and, again, staff were friendly and helpful and there were enough of them! My daughter and her husband had a fantastic experience and would recommend highly. On the wedding day, we had breakfast in the room where we were getting ready and there was a lovely selection of hot filled rolls, fruit and fruit juice. On the day after the wedding, breakfast was great. Lovely choices. I had the smoked haddock with 2 perfectly poached eggs and my friend had eggs Benedict with black pudding which was also lovely. The tiniest thing was I wished I could have a pot of tea with breakfast rather than a mug from a vacuum flask of ‘boiling’ water. This is a minuscule thing in what was a fantastic few days in a fantastic location. Checkout was friendly and I left feeling really glad we chose this venue.

Location, location, location…but the charm lessens from there. The room was comfortable and we had a private balcony overlooking the Loch. We enjoyed using the spa. However, the food was not good and the restaurant itself wasn’t clean and was very noisy.

Stayed here last weekend. My son rates it 5 ⭐, but I would point out he wasn't paying the bill! (I'd probably give it 4⭐, accounting for price) The room was nice and clean. You are definitely paying a premium to wake up with a balcony with a view of the Loch. That said your view is also of the carpark. Unusual to have a separate room for toilet and bath. Potentially useful if someone likes to spend hours on the throne while you are awaiting a shower... Breakfast was included and OK. If you want a detailed critique Black Pudding was lacking in kick and the haggis too wet for my liking. Couple of things that downgrade the room for me: - No USB ports in room (it's 2024 not 2014) - No sockets near the bed at all. It's 2024 - everyone uses their phone for an alarm surely? I couldn't help but wonder if they couldn't be added because the toilet has a light switch in it which almost certainly doesn't meet modern H&S requirements?

Bright outside lighting proved invasive at night due gaps at side and base of curtains. We were woken by a wedding truck unloading at 7am - disappointing. Colquhouns food was appalling, poor quality and very expensive. Seems all sourced at a low budget. For dinner we had over-cooked basic burgers, cold oven chips and budget coleslaw. Breakfast featured basic bread, orange juice from concentrate, followed by a small portion of black pudding, tomato and bacon which were badly dried out as if they had been left on a hot tray for hours. We paid over £450 for this one night - a huge rip-off. Appalling. More one star than four stars. Motorway services are better than this. If coming to stay for the great views of the loch, I would suggest eating elsewhere.

Such a wonderful place. Staff are so friendly and helpful, views are to die for and cannot be beaten! Food is fantastic- both dinner and breakfast. Breakfast especially has a fantastic selection. Cannot recommend this place any more! The small village of Luss is only a short walk away, and a lovely little visit with some quaint shops, lovely views and friendly locals. If you’re close, or travelling to Scotland then visit here. It cannot be missed!

Fab location and friendly staff, but let down by overcooked breakfast ( black pudding dry and tough, poached eggs hard ) lack of any plate presentation and the general cleanliness and attention to detail (floor had cereal spilt on it, no cups on the table, milk had run out and tables were not cleared between servings) Certainly not 4 star....
