After spending about 3 hours in the neighbouring restaurant next to the Hotel building (the staff was very helpful and were trying to help us) we found rooms in the Hotel in Lucernon our own (40 minutes driving from Lungern). Despite having the first day of our short stay in Switzerland has been already devasted by the Emma's Hotel I am still hoping it is a nightmare and the situation will be fixed so we could enjoy our last 2 days of Holiday.

My husband & I stayed 3 nights at Emma's Hotel & the comfort & cleanliness added richly to our Switzerland experience. Our room was lovely, bright & clean with a spacious balcony & views of both the mountains and lake. The thoughtful details that have gone into the building of this hotel amazed us, right down to the little stickers, 1 on the door asking if you've remembered your key card, sunglasses etc, and others dotted around telling you that you can drink the tap water etc; There's also a large word search on the wall, you may ask why, but you will find yourself playing it! The beds & pillows are very comfortable and the shower is amazing. We have stayed in some very nice hotels around the world & this rates highly amongst them. I really can't praise this hotel enough, the breakfast was varied, substantial with healthy choices & an abundance of assorted beverages & the staff were an absolute pleasure to talk to. Also the gift shop there is very quirky. We are really impressed with the attention to detail always considering the needs & well being of their guests. Visit for yourself, you wont regret it, we will definitely be going back. Thank you very much to all staff x

Really small room was given to us and there was no view from the hotel.. the team for support was so lost and helpless.. i was promised an adapter in the room and even that was not provided.. a huge thumbs down to the team for this.. i had heard about the place but emma disappointed.. i would recommend not booking from their website since they give the people booking from their websites the worst rooms.. if you are booking please use other sites like booking

Wir sind zum fünften Mal im Emma's und geniessen wie jedes Mal die tolle Atmosphäre, die Freundlichkeit vom Personal und natürlich das tolle Frühstück! Schon beim Betreten vom Hotel fühlt man sich wohl und Willkommen, das Herzblut mit welchem hier gearbeitet wird, spürt man von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise. Wenn ich hier die negativen Kommentare lese, verstehe ich die Welt nicht mehr. Der Gastgeberin und ihrem Team liegt das Wohlbefinden und die Zufriedenheit der Gäste sehr am Herzen. Die Zimmer sind toll eingerichtet und die Betten super bequem. Die Lage ist perfekt und es gibt genügend kostenlose Parkplätze direkt beim Haus. Alles nicht selbstverständlich. Kurz zusammengefasst: wir geniessen unsere Auszeit im Emma's immer wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon auf das nächste Mal! PS. Unsere Kinder würden gerne 10 Sterne geben **********

Das Emmas Bed and Breakfast ist die Reise alleine wert. Ein wunderschönes Design Hotel in toller Lage. Im ganzen Haus gibt es etwas zu entdecken. Das Frühstück - eigentlich ein opulenter Brunch sucht seines gleichen. Das Team ein absoluter Traum. Hier trifft Gastfreundschaft auf hohen Comfort. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren wieder mal zu Gast im einzigartigen Emma's. Auch dieses Mal blieben keine Wünsche offen, vom Check-in bis zur Abreise fühlt man sich herzlich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Das Zimmer, das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet, der Essraum, der neue Wintergarten, alles ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und durchdacht. Toll dass man vieles der schönen Dekoration auch gleich im hauseigenen Shop kaufen kann. Und die freundliche und kompetente Belegschaft gibt einem das Gefühl, bei Freunden zu Hause zu sein. Herzlichen Dank für alles, bis zum nächsten Mal!

Ich komme immer gerne ins Emma‘s nach Lungern um mich zu erholen. Dieses Mal, im September, war es auch wieder sehr ruhig und das Wetter super schön. Die Aussicht von der Loggia auf den See und die Berge war wunderschön. Das Zimmer ist sehr modern, nachhaltig und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Es hat viele kleine Details, wie z.B. die „Gute Nacht Geschichten“ , QR Codes für WiFi und Tour durch Lungern, die den Aufenthalt noch schöner machen. Das Zimmer und ganze Hotel ist sehr sauber. Die Lage direkt beim Bahnhof ist sehr praktisch. Ich schlafe gerne bei geöffneten Fenstern, da man die frische Bergluft geniessen kann. Ich hatte keine grossen Probleme mit Mücken trotz offenen Fenstern, da ich die Vorhänge zugezogen hatte und es auch so angenehm kühl wurde. Aber das Highlight im Emma’s ist, abgesehen vom Super-Frühstück, das Personal - alle sind immer freundlich und hilfsbereit! Dies macht das Emma‘s liebenswert und speziell. Ich komme bestimmt bald wieder!

Wir waren zum dritten Mal im Emma's und werden wieder kommen ! Wie immer war es grossartig, vom Check in bis zur Abreise. Die liebevolle Einrichtung und herzliche Betreuung durch das Team und die Gastgeberin ist einfach unübertrefflich. Und: im Emma's gibts das beste Frühstück weltweit, sogar die Kinder schwärmen noch davon. Danke für die tollen Ferien!

Das Emma‘s hat meine Erwartung nicht nur erfüllt sondern übertroffen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal und die liebevolle Einrichtung mit den verschiedenen „Liftabteilen“ wie Kaffeebar, Shop, Spielecke usw. machen das Hotel zu einem Unikat mit herzlicher und angenehmer Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück im Café lässt keine Wünsche offen und ich habe mich auch als Alleinreisende wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel und mein Apartment waren sehr sauber. Da ich im Apartment übernachtet habe, hatte ich ein abgetrenntes, grosszügiges Badezimmer und eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Dank der Loggia konnte ich auch bei Regen die Aussicht und frische Bergluft draussen geniessen. Ob bei Regen oder Sonne, das Personal konnte gute Wander- und Ausflugtipps geben, welche mit dem Auto/dem Zug (direkte Verbindung nach Luzern und Interlaken!) erreichbar sind. Ich komme bestimmt wieder!
