Our stay at The Ludington House was comfortable and enjoyable. We truly enjoyed the beauty of the home and all the extra touches that made the experience special (from snacks always available to their specialty bath products to luxury linens) Breakfast was delightful and featured a buffet of fun starters such as brie puff pastries and yogurt parfaits and then hot entree choices from the kitchen. It was all delicious! We definitely recommend a stay at The Ludington House!

While Chris and Jenna’s stately home provides all the modern comforts, the home itself makes guests feel they are stepping back in time to days gone by. We loved our third-story room with its gabled ceiling, tasteful decor, and views of the neighborhood.

A few friends and I stayed at Ludington House before catching the SS Badger across Lake Michigan. We were absolutely charmed by the place and the hosts. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable. We chatted around the fire pit for a bit and then tucked ourselves in for a good night's sleep. We were then treated to what we all agreed was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. So much thought and care was put into everything. We will definitely stay again if ever in the area.

We aren't the B&B type, but we are sure glad that didn't stop us from staying here. It was so pretty, amazingly clean, private, and the breakfast...OMG. My husband is now asking if I can learn to make a souffle. Thank you!!

Our group of 6 enjoyed this 1878 house and historic features. Bob and Ellen are gracious hosts. Along with the breakfast being delicious, Bob and Ellen worked with our dietary needs. There were games to play and plenty of space for the 6 of us to gather. We enjoyed the time here and will be back again soon!

Our stay at the Ludington house was wonderful because the room was clean and well equipped. The delicious breakfast allows you to start your day in a relaxed way. All-in-all, we really enjoyed our stay.

Bob and Ellen were absolutely lovely hosts. Anything we needed was just a text away. From the day I made the reservations, to the day we checked out (and beyond) they were absolutely lovely. Our room was immaculate and gorgeous. The bed was incredibly comfy, the fireplace in our room was wonderful. Breakfast was simply outstanding. Just wonderful. We didn't want to leave, and are already looking forward to going back.

A group of 8 girl friends stayed at The Ludington House B&B. It was amazing. The rooms were spotless with thoughtful touches. There were fluffy towels, a curl up toss, cookies and tea in the room.…oh, and a robe. We were able to sit in the parlor in the evening for wine and cheese. A late breakfast of mango gratin, quiche and blueberry muffins was very special. The owners are very attentive. We loved it!!!!

Owners Ellen and Bob are low key, friendly and will take excellent care of you. The home has charming grandeur and is kept spotless. All the modern conveniences are available and breakfast is wonderful. If you're anywhere on Western Michigan's mid-coast, ditch the chain hotel idea and stay here. You won't regret it.
