It was a nice welcome. Rooms were ready, no delay in checkin. Coming to Taj for a family trip, there is always a benchmark set. Many of the issues highlighted below is more due the Taj expectation benchmark. Issues that I observed: 1. My name has been mis spelled as Piyush instead of Pijush. I highlighted the same during checkin and was told it will be corrected. Then also told the same during checkout, but I still see the same is missed. 2. Generally some welcome cookies are thr in room, which was not in this case. 3. Food menu was not available in room and had to ask for it. 4. Food serving time for in room dining was decent but dining in the restaurant was painful. 5. I booked for dinner in Oudhyana, the serving time was extremely high. Starter took 20 min to come (which is still ok) but main course took another 20 to 25min. 6. The starter Karauli kabab was too salty, unfortunately as kids as well others were hungry after the long wait they eat it. But the level of salt was no way acceptable. Though I was offered a replacement, but was not in mood to wait another 20min. Billing should have been adjusted for the item. 7. No kids play or recreational area 8. On Sunday morning huge rush in morning buffet, which caused opening up of secondary sitting area. Unfortunately, the buffet kept there was small and people have to keep on going to main buffet area. 9. Orders placed from table took very long time to come and even some mixup during bfast on Sunday. 10. Live counters management was not efficient in the secondary sitting place. Notable good points 1. Pool was good and life guard Vivek was very helpful. Even shared tips with the kids for swimming. 2. Rooms were clean & upkeep was good 3. Everyone was helpful & courteous (as expected). 4. The live mango & tea counter was amazing
