Where to begin, I had my reservation on the 21st, when I was ready to check in and they say they do not have any rooms available. This is 10:30 p.m. at night I asked the staff where I was supposed to go since I had just arrived at Lucknow. So, they arranged a room next door in a hotel called Ginger. They claimed the hotel was owned by Taj, did not seem like it, since I was tired and accepted to stay. The next day it did not get any better, finally they gave me a room around 2:00 p.m. Overall it was not a good experience staying at Novotel, nothing about this hotel is a five-star property not the property, service nor amenities. I would recommend Hyatt or Taj which are far better properties. Refund Status: Today is October 1st and I still haven't received the refund for the first night that Novotel agreed to refund. When I contact the property, I do not hear anything back from them. Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service and experience.
