Stayed for a night with family at the Hotel Golden Orchid in Lucknow. It's a small hotel with no parking on premises. We booked two rooms (room only basis) and by mistake at the time of booking 1 person per room was selected. Online change to two person was showing Rs 300/- for both rooms but due to some technical issue online change could not happen and they asked for Rs 1000/- instead and I had no option but to pay. The room was quote run down (see attached picture of TV with settop box precariously dangling) in the room. The bathroom was very small. There was a wedding in the hotel same night as we stayed and the guests were making lot of noise just outside our room and hotel authorities did not do anything about it. Overall a very unpleasant stay and would recommend it to be avoided if possible.

Stayed in this hotel for a night with family. Booked online. By mistake the booking was showing for one person in room. Although it was room only they de***ded Rs 500/- per room extra whereas online it was showing Rs 150/- per room extra. Anyways paid Rs 1000/- as there was no choice. The person at receptionist was rude (to put it mildly). Rooms looked worn out and not at all in commensuration with room charges. The night we stayed there was a marriage function and the guests of that marriage function kept discussing and making loud noise almost the entire night just outside our room and we could barely sleep. See the photo of the TV in the room uploaded by me. We sent them an email in advance informing how to make the bill but they did not have the time to read the email. My advice would be to avoid tis hotel if possible.
