A bright, clean and welcoming family friendly stay We had a fantastic stay. The host was extremely welcoming and made a real effort to welcome our baby. The hotel was charming and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a delight and all freshly prepared with a great selection. The town centre was a short distance away, we easily walked into town with a pram full of stuff.

An unexpected but very memorable stay in a historical property in Lübeck. The property was very clean and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated the spaciousness of our room with high ceilings and an abundance of natural light. The hosts were welcoming and it was interesting to learn about the property's history and restoration. Highly recommended over staying in Lübeck city centre, which is only a short drive away. Very keen to return and experience one of the other suites.

Perfect place to stay at when visiting Lubecke. Great rooms, excellent hospitality and breakfast with all you can wish for. A beautiful gardenroom a so very nice decorated little castel.

We stayed here for 2 nights in december, and we enjoyed this quirky hotel. It was different from everything else we've tried before. Our room was very spacious with both a small hallway, a big bedroom and a huge bathroom with a nice tub. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and is very true to the style of the old building. The host couple were very nice and welcoming, and they told us about the history of the place while showing us to our room. The breakfast was okay, but maybe we had expected something out of the ordinary because of the surroundings. Only complaint would be that the hotel was rather cold and drafty. Thats life in old buildings. The sleeping comfort was good. There is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the town centre, so don't let the location of the place scare you off. Close to the hotel you will find the "Sudden Death Brewery", and it is absolutely worth a visit.

Peter and Annette were excellent hosts and very patient with our loud and clumsy son. The house has been beautifully restored and tastefully decorated. It was very interesting to hear its history from Peter on our arrival and also its place in the history of lubeck. Our room was beautiful and huge. It was a 20 minute walk from the hotel to the Holstentor, there is a cycle route which would be really quick. I would definitely recommend the hotel as a lovely place to stay with a very interesting history and they have been clever in hiding its slightly industrial location.

Very unique property with nice attention to detail. Very clean and well presented. Lovely courtyard with beautifully manicured pond and fauna. If you need an outdoor area to sit comfortably and have a cigar and a glass of wine, this property certainly has it. One caveat, if there is no functioning pool on the property then they should not advertise as having a pool. When booking properties, I always try to book one with a pool for my wife because that is important to her. I communicated in a polite way that this was a disappointment , but the owners made no attempt to compensate us in anyway for this. Oh well, it is what it is.

We stayed at your hotel in the weekend 9/12-22-11/12-22. We loved everything about it. The hostees was always sweet and very helpful. The room was like living in a fairytale - so beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was fantastisk. We will forever keep our stay in a spesial place ind our hearts and will revisit another time.

If you start planning your vacation by studying Google Maps and dismiss this hotel due to the surroundings, you miss a great opportunity for a classy and different experience. The owners bought the small Schloss Bellevue in 2014 – after the magnificent park had been sold, and the castle had been neglected for by various owners for centuries. Now, they live in one part of the castle, while most of it has been changed into 12 luxurious rooms and suites. They are kind, welcoming and professional, and they care about their small haven and their customers. Breakfast is late, 8:30, but since most people come here for a getaway, not for business purposes, it is fine. Especially when the breakfast is prepared with such care and variety as it was. We stayed in one of the suites, where there was a small kitchen with the essential tools, and everything was as luxurious as the website promised. We will happily come back another time.

One night is not enough My girlfriend and I, had the most amazing time staying at this carefully renovated house. The rooms was astonishing, and the breakfast was something truly spectacular. We stayed for a single night, and the only regret we had, was not having another night at Lübecker Krönchen.
