Hampton Inn Lubbock

Customer Service was amazing thank you for your patience and kindness during this experience. I will be booking again shortly. When I check in I hope to see the staff as friendly as I spoke with this time. Again thank you for your kindness during this stay.

This was for a quick trip back to Lubbock and this Hampton was perfect. First I called ahead and talked to Sabrina at the front desk. I told her we were going to be a little early for our reservation, and she assured me that would be okay. When we checked in Sabrina had selected the perfect room for our needs. Also, she had warm cookies at the front desk. The young man on the evening shift was just very polite and professional as well. This location was near our old neighborhood, so it made it feel like coming home. Thank you so much!

I will say the guy at the front desk was superb. He told me that he is a senior at Tech and majors in Hospitality. He sure showed that he will be successful in that field. The rooms were nice as expected, and the price was great (under $100). The reason for the four stars was the breakfast was lacking. There was not a lot of selection and it was bland. We actually left and stopped elsewhere for breakfast. It is a great value, though even if you go somewhere else to eat.

Worn and outdated property. No one at front desk for 10 minutes to check in; pool was "closed for maintainence", 1st floor icemaker was broken. Assigned room on 3rd floor at end of hall--believe it was "pet friendly", though we had no pet. Strong fecal/mold/aroma permeated the hallway and lingered throughout our visit. Room itself was fine, though the mattresses were not encased to help prevent spread of bedbugs. 2nd floor and 3rd floor ice-makers also out of service in both the evening and the morning; required an extra stop elsewhere to purchase some ice for our small cooler. Usual generic breakfast was serviceble. Overall, it was adequate for an overnight visit, but the run-down condition of the public spaces did not inspire comfort.

We've stayed at this hotel many, many times in the past. This stay was the worst of all of them. We arrived for 6 nights but left after 3 due to changes in our plans. The front desk staff is nice but after that you can't say too much positive. The rest of the staff never said a word to us or even smiled for that matter. The room was filthy as if it was never cleaned including peanuts on the floor (which we cleaned up), a dried out old washcloth hanging over the shower curtain (which we threw away), lots of thick black hairs under the edge of the sink (which we cleaned out), something was all in the carpet either spilled or ??, the pillows had plastic covers and plastic lined pillow cases (went to Walmart and bought new pillows/cases. The employees believe the parking spots closest to the doors belong to them and patrons should park "out there" somewhere. One of the employees brought her children into the hotel about 7am to shower and change clothes for school....where?? The person tending the breakfast area did not speak English and had NO idea how to cook sausage except boil it from what it appeared. I could go on but.... Don't know what has happened but it has gone way downhill. We are staying at a different Hilton property now and it is a night and day difference for the better.

This hotel is probably the most run down Hampton that I have ever visited. The building is old, and the location is VERY difficult to find and not well marked. WHEN you drive past the only entrance, it is a several mile drive to get back and try again. The shower in the room ONLY had scalding hot water - so no shower that morning. The STAFF were all wonderful and friendly. I get the impression that this hotel is mostly for construction and oil field workers, and it is pretty worn as a result. There are better options in the area.

Hotel is outdated. They try and keep it clean but if is old and uncomfortable. The front desk people were all nice when I complained but this is not the normal Hampton experience. I expected something a little updated. When you first walk in it is just obvious that the hotel isn’t in good shape. I wouldn’t stay here again.

We timed our drive and overnight stay to this hotel and location on the way to Colorado so we could watch the final 2-3 hours of the BMW Classic. We watched in a local sports bar until check in time only to discover they have Direct TV who doesn’t carry CBS - MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT and a huge FAIL for Hilton. Get a smart tv with apps so people can choose what to view.

Was very clean and 0leasant experience stayed prior to last stay and Tasha has checked me I'm and helped me and answered any questions I have had evrytime I have stayed..She went above and beyond expectations.She makes the stay and will in fact continue to stay here because she is and has been great couple of other hotels I would like to check out but haven't and probably won't because of Tasha couldn't ask for better hitel agent beds are comfy and pillows are fabulous lo e the bath body and shampoo products smell amazing and actually work very well breakfast in the morning is just ok but you can choose from a couple of different items hope this is help to anyone who is deciding weather to stay or not inwouldnsay yes asl for Tasha if you have any questions or issues and she will help any way she can.
