Pakefield Holiday Village - Adults Only

DO NOT STAY HERE. This site quite frankly is the worse place I have ever stayed. My room was dirty, soiled curtains and mould in the key fobs. The restaurant food was like school dinners. The arcade machines were mostly broken. The site was outdated, overgrown and not looked after. The arcade were serving out of date sweets to all children for the weekend of the 28th - 31st May. And when these complaints were raised- both this site, management and owners of the company fobbed me off as I had not filled in a specific form! Despicable, appalling, disgusting and I would never step foot on one of their sites again.

U get what you pay for, food was OK, rooms are OK to get your head down, now to the entertainment, Annie was absolutely awful, how this woman, can expect to get paid is beyond me, she absolutely killed the place every time she played, the blue coats, where not the best, they did an horrendous Xmas play which was more suitable for under 10s. Best act of the weekend was a band called imperial sounds, they were the best, unfortunately they didn't play long enough, again they opted to let Annie play and basically emptied the place.

I went here the first week of November to the 1st of there Turkey and Tinsel weeks . I went here with my mum and we had a fabulous time . The bands they had on were amazing Stevie Ritchie he had an amazing voice and great entertainer , Lee Lard as Peter Kay he had the audience in tears and close to wetting themselves. The evening food was OK but the breakfast was amazing throughly enjoyable. The bluecoats did a great couple of shows in the week and we even got to see Santa. We enjoyed all of the other entertainment like the bingo and we won £35.00 . It's sad knowing there closing at the end of the year . All the best for the future xx

We went beginning of October had a brilliant week! Food was great swimming pool was really good and for the price you really can't get any better! We've actually booked to go back before they close. Also the man from the arcades is brilliant! Thanks so much

Going to need another holiday to recover. Rooms are bad really bad .Bathroom even worse ..Did not find the reception staff very welcoming 🙄. Food OK jacket potato's were lovely ..Sadly a lot of greedy people with plates over flowing .I heard some people have little choice after the greedy people take what they want ..Shows were good .Beach access is very dangerous I felt take care .. Some guests were lovely especially the elderly ones .Beware the chalets only have one pillow per person 🙄. Lovely fish pond and baby 🐰 bunnies running around ..Beding was clean as were the towels ..No protection on the very uncomfortable bed .

Just returned from 3 night weekend I was suprised I thought it was gonna be bad reading reviews we didn't pay much so new we wasn't getting the Ritz ( where can you go 3 nights in august eat as much as u like breakfast and dinner for £200 a couple ) the mattress was hard so I took a duvet with me to put on top but you can hire free just leave a deposit which you get back when you leave. 4 nice white towels provided to the chalet we was in was spotless the press button shower bit of a pain but it's better then if somebody don't turn if off the place would get flooded a kettle microwave cup plates knifes forks etc all there what else do you need for a cheap break the staff are so nice very friendly and helpful at checking in and staff who work on site cleaners. restaurant .bar staff etc all very cheerful.entainment was not so great but as IV said it was cheap especially for August I didn't use local shop as Morrisons is 5 mins walk away and didn't use swimming pool this time it's a shame it's closing at the end of the year I like Suffolk and it's a good place to stay for sight seeing round the area as bus stops right out side camp .if anyone thinking of going give it a go before it closes I'm sure your be surprised.i wish all the staff at pontins the best of luck in there future after it closes you all done very well and your a nice bunch people
