This 960 sq ft cozy 3-bedroom secluded home rest low on 160 acres of rolling hills in Lyman County on the Lower Brule Sioux Reservation. Whether it be Tribal Hunting, Fishing or Hunting on National Grass Lands nearby or simply relaxing, you will find a breathtaking view of endless miles of rolling hills. Just off the scenic Highway1806 which takes you south to Interstate 90 to the friendly town of Kennebec or going back North taking you to our State's Capitol, Oahe Dam and onward West to the beautiful Black Hills! The Little Palace on the Prairie is the best kept secret! Hope you enjoy your stay! (The Palace is 32 miles S.E. of Ft. Pierre on 1806 and 19.5 miles N. W. of Kennebec.) Relax
The views are spectacular. The noise of th world is nonexistant. The perfect escape from the world. Wildlife. Bird songs. Loved it

Nice place
Place is very nice and quiet. Danita was very pleasant and took care of everything at the cabin. The only issue is the website states the cabin is around 15 minutes from the capital and it is more like 45 minutes. That is the only negative thing. Everything else was great.

May 2024 Stay
Quiet, secluded, clean, well maintained property with amazing views of the prairie grasslands. BBQ grill worked perfectly and the house included everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Palace on the Prairie.

Squeaky Clean and Great Views
Loved staying here! The place was squeaky clean and it seemed like everything was new. Evenings looking out over the Missouri Breaks were awesome. Danita was super friendly and took care of any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.
