Residencial Playa de los Roques

Gorgeous location, apartment overlooking the sea. Sitting on the terrace in the evening hearing the waves hit the rocks; total relaxation. Our apartment was rustic and charming, comfy beds and plenty of room. Pool is stunning and always sunbeds free for us. A shame the pool bar wasn’t open in the afternoon or evening for a drink, we spoke with many guests who commented the same. Very friendly and helpful staff. We hired a car so we’re ok but you really do need a car for this location. We would definitely come back again

We booked this apartment for five days but had to leave after just one night due to its poor condition. The photos online were misleading, and the reality was far from what we expected. The place had a bad smell, and some amenities were either broken or missing. The blanket was very old and very thiny so was very cold to sleep, apartmentthe was not well-maintained, and overall, it felt neglected. We tried to address the issues, but there was no proper response or solution offered. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to find another place to stay. To make things worse, they also refused to refund our money, even though the apartment was clearly neglected. This was a complete waste of money and a huge disappointment. Avoid this place unless you want to risk a terrible stay and losing your money! Would not recommend this apartment unless serious improvements are made.

The apartments are very nice & quite well equipped. Some staff like the night porter do not speak English but were still welcoming when we arrived. The reception staff are great, particularly Agostino who was brilliant. Agostino and his colleagues were very helpful with directions, calling taxis & general local knowledge. Streets are very steep so not good for people who have limited mobility. The Wi-Fi is patchy & intermittent which is frustrating. Phone signal is poor - great if you want to be out of touch. Breakfast offers good choices unless you're vegetarian. My husband is vegetarian so found his choices of hot food very limited due to meat in almost everything, including scrambled eggs. The location is amazingly beautiful and stunning. Most of the guests here are German and very nice and polite. Some guests are Spanish. We met one American & his Albanian wife. People tend to smoke everywhere - during breakfast which is inconsiderate, unhealthy & disgusting. Young children were here and should not be exposed to passive smoke. We hate cigarettes & smoking so it reduced our enjoyment of our balcony.

What fantastic apartments, ours was a standard , which was huge. With a large balcony overlooking playa de las Roques. Traditional Spanish style, with an AEG oven and hob and full size fridge freezer. Oh and 5 piece Roca bathroom . The staff are really friendly and helpful. It was very quiet, I would guess it was about a third full. The gardens have lots of plants and trees, there is a fish pond, a terrapin pond, and a good size Cesar Manrique inspired swimming pool . Being built onto the cliffs there are some steps down to the apartments, there is a lift from the reception area though. It is a bit tricky to find, The roads are narrow and very steep, with a lot of one ways, drive carefully ! The town of Toscal has plenty of restaurants and bars, it is very much a Spanish area, don't expect English Pub or anything like that. It is a little cooler on this side of the island, but still sunbathing in October. This is an excellent location for exploring this side of the island, The town of La Orotava , The Anaga Mountains and of course mount Teide. The capital Santa Cruz is great to walk round, lots going on, lovely. We went on Sundays, less traffic and easier to park. I would say, you really need a car. Focus absolutely on the road, road markings and speed limits. Learning a little Spanish would really help, this is not a British tourist area. Would we go again ? Yes absolutely it was a great holiday !

El conjunto de apartamentos está muy bien situado y las vistas son increibles. Es bien amplio. La zona, bien tranquila para descansar. El mantenimiento podría ser mejor.Menaje de cocina escaso. Sin microondas. Aún así, volvería sin dudarlo

Nous avons réservé en dernière minutes sur une plateforme et quel bon choix... Appartement 3 chambre : c22 Vous ouvrez la porte et la c'est exceptionnel...comme si vous étiez en peine mer avec la grande baie vitrée. Les chambres sont spatieuses, 2 ont un balcon qui donne sur l'océan. Baignoire à bulles dans l'une des 2 salles de bain. La piscine est de très bonne taille et raffrraichissante. Nous l'avons eu pour nous seuls puisque la météo n'était pas au rdv... Notre appartement était vraiment luxueux et c'est probablement le meilleur rapport qualité prix que nous ayons eu depuis nos voyages. Le complexe semble vieillissant et n'est pas complet en ce début juillet. Les vacanciers préfèrent sûrement le soleil du sud de l'île. Bref ce complexe aurait été inaccessible s'il était situé à adeje ou autres... L'impression d'être seuls au milieu de l'océan dans l'appartement c22... Gros coup de cœur 👍👍👍
