Siamo stati molto felici con questo hotel. I dipendenti erano amici e carini e era in una buona posizione. La stanza era pulita e carina. Hanno dolci, tazza di noodles, tè e caffè nel lobby gratuitamente. La camera è stata un buon toccamento, ma il colazione era il continente, ma era ben conservato. Abbiamo trascorso 7 notti qui. Situato in un locale di club di campagna. Un lato ignora il campo da golf. Il campo da golf è chiuso. Vista di ponte (non vista del lago... solo lamentazione che ho) non era auspicabile, perché il campo da golf passa attraverso il sollevamento facciale. Una volta fatto sarebbe fantastico. Anche senza il sollevamento facciale, abbiamo avuto grandi viste su guardare la linea di cielo della città da una distanza e il campo da golf verde sotto. Abbiamo avuto il 8° piano che lo ha reso molto meglio. Io sospettavo che i piani inferiori (tutto il fronte) sarebbero ancora buoni. Il personale, tutti noi interagiamo con lui, era brillante. Certamente capiscono l'ospitalità! L'appartamento è molto nuovo. Il lobby è ben designato. La zona del colazione può diventare occupata. La stazione di waffle per farlo ordinare waffle era un bel toccamento. Il personale era pronto a aiutare. Volevamo uova senza carne e erano disposti e in grado di ospitare. Piscina. Piscina a fuoco. Lavanderia (non usata, ma è presumibilmente poco costosa). Comunita' gattata come ingresso. Parcheggio era pieno ogni sera. Hanno i diritti per il parcheggio stradale. Solo fuori strada. Abbiamo trovato questa posizione molto conveniente. 25-30 minuti da LAX, Disney Land, Downtown, Beverly Hills/Hollywood, ecc. Abbiamo scelto una grande camera deluxe che valeva così bene. Abbiamo avuto problemi con il divano di tiro. Chiamatevi rapidamente e risposte immediate. Il problema è stato risolto con un bel sorriso. Come la maggior parte dei posti che dite al check in quanto spesso desiderate il servizio in camera. Ascensori erano spaziosi. Tre di loro, quindi il tempo di attesa era minimo. Wi-Fi era abbastanza buono. Le letti erano comodi. Grande esperienza!

In effetti l'hotel è un po' vecchiotto e non ci sono prese di corrente accanto al letto. Probabilmente non è stato ristrutturato o ristrutturato da molti anni. L'igiene va bene. Anche il servizio era abbastanza buono. Il bus navetta per l'aeroporto è molto comodo 24 ore su 24. È disponibile fuori dalla sala partenze al terzo piano dell'ascensore. Spa essere pochi giorni a Los Angeles dopo aver viaggiato per qualche settimana e lasciato LAX. È un hotel molto bello per i nostri scopi.Scegli perché abbiamo avuto un volo precoce e era vicino al ritorno della macchina affittato. Il costo affidabile era probabilmente perché il parcheggio era $75 al giorno con la possibilità di venire e andare come lei desidera o parcheggiare in un garage per $25 ogni volta che uscite. La prima notte il nostro ac non lavorava, ma eravamo troppo stanchi per affrontarlo fino a mattina. Poiché ci fermavamo un'altra notte, ci diede un valet gratuito per il giorno (usavamo l'opzione di autopark e già usava una carta di credito così non voleva chiedere) e colazione gratuita e accesso alla sala con bevande e snack 24 ore. Le camere erano pulite, i letti erano comodi, io rimarrei li'.

This was another nice stay at a SpringHill Suites and so much better than the Courtyard we stayed at the nights before. It was set back from the street so not as obvious when driving up. However, its location was convenient with the Stonewood shopping mall across the street. Overall it was a nicely designed hotel. Lobby included the bar and breakfast area. The gym had new and all working matrix exercise equipment including a complete set of dumbbells to 50 lbs. the pool was located outdoors on the second floor above the covered car port. In the room, I was pleasantly surprised to see an in room safe which is not too common on our US travels. The trundle bed had a much thicker mattress than the typical sofa bed pull outs. The bathroom was roomy with a good amount of counter space. However, the bath door was hard to close but at least the shower delivered great water pressure. Breakfast was simple with scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal, fruits, bagels and bread plus yogurts in the mini fridge. Staff was helpful and recognized my Marriott status for the first time this trip. Will return for another stay.

The guys at the lobby are very friendly. The rooms were very clean, the pools were clean, the lobby was spacious. The location is very close to the airport and the city center. There are nice places to shop and eat around. Thank you for everything. See you on my next visit.

YYC008Here's why we gave the experience 3 stars;
First of all, when we booked the hotel, neither Trip.com nor The Aster, Los Angeles, mentioned anything about the rooftop being closed on the dates we booked. On May 13 and May 14, we stayed in room 3 0 6. The hotel pictures showed and bragged about having a rooftop and plenty of pics of people there, and nowhere was revealed anywhere on their website or Trip.com that would not be available on those dates. When we reached out to Trip.com, they pretty much said that the rooftop amenities weren't listed as part of our package. Really Trip.com? You have to list the rooftop as the amenity... Got it. That was so lame a response. Everyone knows people book due to the pictures, and this was a seriously lame response from the Trip.com customer support personnel. We decided to save our opinion for this review.
The Aster had nice people, but it's hard to believe the availability missing on their website is a detail they would miss. Their hotel has impeccable detail and design. One can only surmise they conveniently left out the information because people would obviously not book there and go somewhere else. I told the front receptionist this as we were checking in. She mentioned, well, it said it on *******. But we didn't book through *******, we booked through Trip.com. And those specific details were not evident. After July 1st the Government is getting stricter on transparency with hotels having to mention things so we missed this window, but we're happy to hold hotels like The Aster accountable:-)
Also, on Wednesday, we checked out, and they had a fire alarm drill test that lasted about 10 minutes. They forgot to mention another minor ”inconvenience” when we booked on their website. It was at 10 am. It wasn't so bad, but to state the obvious, they left out the ability for customers to decide by not making that information transparent during the booking process. It's not like the fire department or tech people didn't schedule that in advance.
1. If you book through Trip.com, please make sure you specify, call their customer support, and get it in writing. The clickbait and pictures seem shady and sketchy and reflect a lack of credibility in the process.
2. Trip.com asked which room we wanted to be in. When we picked the room, we picked the city-view balcony. But we got put in the poolside view instead. It wasn't bad, but that was missing in the booking details that Trip.com sent to The Aster. My fiance ended up being okay with the poolside view, but it should have been in the booking details via Trip.com. So please, please make sure you watch this if you book through them and call the hotel in advance.
Lastly, the decor, valet, and, in general, the service people were very nice and thoughtful. We would give them 5 stars.

Cynthia della reception è stata molto accomodante per la mia richiesta ed è stato un soggiorno fantastico. Il personale è cordiale, cortese ed efficiente. Il parcheggio coperto con cancello è stato utile durante la tempesta e apprezzo che abbiano 3 carrelli per bagagli ben funzionanti a disposizione degli ospiti. Il Gateway Towne Center è raggiungibile a piedi, a 1 isolato da Best Buy, Marshalls, ecc.

First and foremost, the hotel's proximity to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is a major advantage. It's a mere 10-minute drive away, which made it incredibly convenient for someone like me who had to catch an early morning flight. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a nice touch.
The check-in process was efficient, and the staff at the front desk were courteous and welcoming. The lobby area is clean, modern, and well-designed, creating a favorable first impression.
I stayed in a standard room, and it was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the extra pillows provided. The room had a decent view and was adequately spacious for a solo traveler. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with the necessary amenities.
One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant, The Bistro. The food was surprisingly good, and they offered a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and provided excellent service. However, I found the prices a bit on the higher side.
The fitness center was well-equipped, and I was able to maintain my workout routine during my stay. The hotel also has a small outdoor pool, although I didn't have the chance to use it during my stay.
The only downside to my experience was the noise level in the hallways and adjacent rooms. Thin walls seemed to allow sound to carry, which made it a bit difficult to sleep when there were noisy neighbors. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit slow at times, which could be frustrating if you're trying to get work done.
Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne is a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience near the airport. The friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent dining options make it a comfortable place to stay. However, improvements in soundproofing and Wi-Fi speed would enhance the overall experience.

HHannJust needed to stay one night to catch a flight the next morning. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit cramped but was overall fine. Breakfast was nothing fancy but was also fine. More options than I thought there would be. The traffic was a bit alarming in the morning getting to the airport. Would recommend leaving early to allow for time.

UUtente ospiteIl personale era molto amichevole e accogliente, ci permetteva di controllare un po' prima di quanto fosse normale, che era grande, perché abbiamo appena finito un volo di 14 ore e molto gettato/cantato. Le camere sono state recentemente ristrutturate, molto pulite e pulite.
In generale non molto da lamentarsi. C'era un odore (pulizia/parfum/fiori?) che è menzionato in altre recensioni, tuttavia non abbiamo trovato questo disturbo in generale e ci siamo abituati. Avendo l'aria condizionata sembrava ridurre l'intensità.
Solo il punto di svantaggio è che è un po' lontano dalle aree turistiche (15-20mins da Uber) quindi se non ti importa, questo è un posto fantastico per stare.

UUtente ospiteEsattamente quello che cercavo a Los Angeles. Mi sono fermato a Los Angeles per il fine settimana prima di andare a Hawaii. Volevo un hotel che fosse decente e in una buona posizione senza il costo pazzesco associato a LA. Non voglio solitamente gettare una tonnellata di soldi in un hotel, perché lo usamo come un posto per dormire e doccia. Per questo motivo, Wilshire Crest ha adattato la fattura a una T. Big room, bel bagno recentemente rinnovato con buon Wi-Fi. Sembra un complesso di appartamento rinnovato. Non c'è una vista reale della città, la nostra stanza ha guardato il giardino. Molto luce. Una singola AC e mini frigo nella stanza. Non c'era una tonnellata di accessori da trovare, pensando allo studio appartamento. Non c'è USB che ho visto. È un edificio di 2 storie senza ascensore, quindi se è un problema, per favore fatelo sapere. Il tessuto potrebbe essere un po' datato, ma ho trovato che era pulito un mantenuto bene. Non abbiamo avuto problemi di check-in. Il parcheggio stradale è incluso, e siamo riusciti a trovare un posto molto vicino ogni volta che usciamo. La valigia è stata lasciata dalla porta dopo le 7:00. Un tipo di desayuno continentale con alcuni yogurt e banane aggiuntive. Il desk era sempre stato occupato, e la porta era chiusa a notte, ma il personale era molto piacevole e risponde a tutto quello che avevamo bisogno. Se vuole un bel posto per restare a Los Angeles, consiglierei molto Wilshire Crest.

UUtente ospiteLa camera da letto è pulita e confortevole in tutto Quando sono entrato, non ho potuto ottenere una guida all'orario di partenza della porta principale, quindi ho avuto un bel po'di tempo, ma il capo apparve e mi ha aiutato immediatamente.
Mi sorprende che il colazione sia stato ben preparato, e si può mangiare colazione e prepararla secondo il vostro gusto, non solo pasta, ma anche avena, waffle e riso. Ci sono bagni, bagni e lavanderia in ogni angolo, quindi li ho usati senza alcuna inconvenienza. Posso vedere il personale lavorare duro. Se non hai un rifiuto di dormire, è un posto molto buono per stare.

Semplice check-in. Camera semplice con WiFi gratuita. L'unico lato inferiore è i vicini intorno all'hotel sono SUPER alto.
In generale, sarei felice di rimanere di nuovo qui.

Molti cibi poi gettati fuori, era come uova in pacchetti, piccola mini salsa supercottata, e patate fritte disegnate. Molti ospiti d'oltremare hanno mangiato dopo 9-00am nessun cibo? Anche le persone che lasciavano prima 7-00am sono mancate! La stanza era buona e il bagno era molto pulito!

UUtente ospiteMost important: we got an excellent nights sleep. Second floor in the back of the hotel (rm 222). It was quiet and we found the bed excellent. Service was helpful, polite. And the Wifi worked reasonably well - no problems with that.
Also important is we booked the room for $84 (total) and in LA/Manhattan Beach area that is cheap. Walk in price was $109+tax. So all my suggestions are just ”future ideas” and I have no grounds to complain about anything since we slept really well there. And yes, we will be back again no future trips.
Things that could be better:
o ice maker ”out of service” - they had one unit and it was connected, would make whirring noise when pushing in the dispenser, but no ice. We used the in-room 'fridge to freeze some water bottles to keep our picnic things cool the next day.
o inner courtyard looks like a small prison yard: the former pool and hottub are covered with what looks like roofing material and the fence around the pool area is locked off. No plants is the main problem. This could be a gem of a garden. My advice is to visit estate sales and garage sales to buy all the *large* potted plants they can find cheap (or free).
o renovate the rooms a bit: e.g. rip out the old carpets and put in any (yes, even linoleum) floor that can be mopped - much cleaner, no place for fleas, bedbugs, or dust mites to live in. Wash the walls and paint where repairs have been made - simple things can make the room much more pleasant to be in.
o put a window screen on the back window - which essentially faces a wall. But it was good (quiet) ventilation since it wasn't facing the street.
o small grey mark on the pillow case and a stray hair on the bed - harmless stuff to us but other people might find more objectiionable. And some stains in the carpet that probably will never come out. Not a big deal.
