Was here for a speaking engagement. Convenient to everything.. 1 minute off the freeway, lots of dining options nearby. Hotel cafe was a little pricey for breakfast. 2 eggs and toast for $11.00 ..would probably opt for another option for dining next time. Will definitely stay here again. Great service 2017

Un hotel tipo motel, la posizione è vicino agli Universal Studios, a 20 minuti a piedi, Uber costa 7 dollari USA/6 minuti, la camera è pulita, il letto è comodo e c'è un forno a microonde. Parcheggio gratuito. Anche il soggiorno è stato piacevole. Sono arrivato agli Universal Studios alle 8 del mattino e ho giocato al castello di Harry Potter preferito di Hammy, il che è stato davvero conveniente.
Il capo è indiano e ci sono molti indiani nelle vicinanze. Il capo si è mostrato molto intelligente e in un primo momento ha detto che non era consentito fumare nella stanza e che gli sarebbero stati addebitati 71 dollari per spese varie. Quando ha visto che dovevo accettare e che sarebbe venuto con tutta la famiglia agli Universal Studios, si è subito entusiasmato e mi ha regalato anche dei cioccolatini. Non ci hanno fatto pagare più alcun deposito per il nostro soggiorno. C'è un supermercato 711 nelle vicinanze, comodo per fare la spesa. Ho visto anche senzatetto.
La tariffa dell'hotel è stata prepagata da Ctrip. Quando è arrivata, c'erano spese varie di US $ 71. Poiché non era stato spiegato al momento della prenotazione, Ctrip mi ha anche rimborsato 510 RMB come risarcimento. Il risultato è stato soddisfacente. Sembra che questo hotel addebiti tariffe varie, quindi si prega di prestare attenzione al momento della prenotazione.

I would give the place 3 stars, wife would give 2, thus the 2 rating. I was worried going in seeing the 1 star reviews of late. But it was better than that in my mind. Construction is continuing. While we were there, they actually demolished the front desk (was still there behind a tarp on Saturday, gone by end of day Sunday.....they were using a folding table as the front desk). Carpet in our room was still ancient. Carpet in the hallway was better. An old ice machine made a lot of noise and dripped a bit near the elevators. Furniture in room was old and chipped, but functional and clean enough. Bathroom was OK. Tons of water pressure in shower (wish we could actually turn the water pressure down a bit). Building looked OK from the outside. Breakfast and lobby areas looked OK (but were still undergoing some renovation so dusty). Breakfast was OK, but they never had apple juice available during entire stay (always said out of order). Did have cranberry and orange available). Last day they didn't have plain scrambled eggs available, only pre-made omelets with cheese (disappointing to my wife who doesn't eat cheese). Lots of other choices, both warm and cold, and make your own pancakes. One day we were sitting down to eat and staff came and put down cones and started washing the floor with some smelly water. Didn't say sorry or anything, we just got up and moved far away. Glad the air conditioner had a button to turn the fan on constant, otherwise the on and off would have been annoying at night. Still, never could get temp quite right as either too cold or too hot overnight.

Ho fatto un breve viaggio agli Universal Studios e ho prenotato lo Sheraton Universal.
Tutto l'ambiente, la pulizia era buona. Tuttavia ha sollevato più volte domande sulla dimensione della camera con la reception. Tuttavia non ha avuto una risposta positiva. Suggerirei ai nuovi clienti di controllare la taglia prima di prenotare per la tua famiglia.
Nel complesso una buona esperienza, ma avrebbe potuto essere memorabile se avessi avuto camere di buone dimensioni.

Robby e la stanza sembrano film. Hanno un concetto.
Non era il più nuovo stile, ma mi ha dato un buon senso.
Soprattutto, la camera è così buona, molto pulita e il servizio è buono.
Meglio posizione per Universal Studio Hollywood.
Certamente ci vorranno 20 minuti a piedi per andare allo Studio Universal.
Voglio davvero restare di nuovo lì... Signorina già questa stanza.

First of all, when we booked the hotel, neither Trip.com nor The Aster, Los Angeles, mentioned anything about the rooftop being closed on the dates we booked. On May 13 and May 14, we stayed in room 3 0 6. The hotel pictures showed and bragged about having a rooftop and plenty of pics of people there, and nowhere was revealed anywhere on their website or Trip.com that would not be available on those dates. When we reached out to Trip.com, they pretty much said that the rooftop amenities weren't listed as part of our package. Really Trip.com? You have to list the rooftop as the amenity... Got it. That was so lame a response. Everyone knows people book due to the pictures, and this was a seriously lame response from the Trip.com customer support personnel. We decided to save our opinion for this review.
The Aster had nice people, but it's hard to believe the availability missing on their website is a detail they would miss. Their hotel has impeccable detail and design. One can only surmise they conveniently left out the information because people would obviously not book there and go somewhere else. I told the front receptionist this as we were checking in. She mentioned, well, it said it on *******. But we didn't book through *******, we booked through Trip.com. And those specific details were not evident. After July 1st the Government is getting stricter on transparency with hotels having to mention things so we missed this window, but we're happy to hold hotels like The Aster accountable:-)
Also, on Wednesday, we checked out, and they had a fire alarm drill test that lasted about 10 minutes. They forgot to mention another minor ”inconvenience” when we booked on their website. It was at 10 am. It wasn't so bad, but to state the obvious, they left out the ability for customers to decide by not making that information transparent during the booking process. It's not like the fire department or tech people didn't schedule that in advance.
1. If you book through Trip.com, please make sure you specify, call their customer support, and get it in writing. The clickbait and pictures seem shady and sketchy and reflect a lack of credibility in the process.
2. Trip.com asked which room we wanted to be in. When we picked the room, we picked the city-view balcony. But we got put in the poolside view instead. It wasn't bad, but that was missing in the booking details that Trip.com sent to The Aster. My fiance ended up being okay with the poolside view, but it should have been in the booking details via Trip.com. So please, please make sure you watch this if you book through them and call the hotel in advance.
Lastly, the decor, valet, and, in general, the service people were very nice and thoughtful. We would give them 5 stars.

UUtente ospiteIt was an enjoyable stay with Fairfield Inn, at El Segundo. The service from the front desk, to the cafeteria staff during the breakfast to the airport shuttle service were great! All of them were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the room was smaller than we expected but acceptable. Otherwise, the whole experience was great.

I had a smooth experience overall at the Sheraton Hotel. Check-in and service were efficient, and the facilities were well-maintained. However, I noticed some comments mentioning large crowds at certain times. It seems this is due to the shuttle service dropping off a batch of guests simultaneously, which is understandable. Despite this, the staff managed the flow effectively, and it didn’t significantly impact the overall experience. A great stay overall!

UUtente ospiteIl personale era molto amichevole e accogliente, ci permetteva di controllare un po' prima di quanto fosse normale, che era grande, perché abbiamo appena finito un volo di 14 ore e molto gettato/cantato. Le camere sono state recentemente ristrutturate, molto pulite e pulite.
In generale non molto da lamentarsi. C'era un odore (pulizia/parfum/fiori?) che è menzionato in altre recensioni, tuttavia non abbiamo trovato questo disturbo in generale e ci siamo abituati. Avendo l'aria condizionata sembrava ridurre l'intensità.
Solo il punto di svantaggio è che è un po' lontano dalle aree turistiche (15-20mins da Uber) quindi se non ti importa, questo è un posto fantastico per stare.

UUtente ospiteIl materasso e i cuscini K erano molto comodi. La camera era molto spaziosa e silenziosa. Cynthia della reception è stata molto accomodante per la mia richiesta ed è stato un soggiorno fantastico. Il personale è cordiale, cortese ed efficiente. Il parcheggio coperto con cancello è stato utile durante la tempesta e apprezzo che abbiano 3 carrelli per bagagli ben funzionanti a disposizione degli ospiti. Il Gateway Towne Center è raggiungibile a piedi, a 1 isolato da Best Buy, Marshalls, ecc.

UUtente ospiteLa posizione è davvero buona, proprio accanto a Koreatown. La stanza era pulita perché l'host sembra essere sensibile alla pulizia. Non è male per un giorno o due finché incontri bene i coinquilini. Anche l'aria condizionata funziona bene. Gli asciugamani potevano essere noleggiati per $ 2, ma non erano puliti. Puoi conservare oggetti importanti chiudendoli con il tuo lucchetto negli armadietti che si trovano nella stanza in base al numero di persone.

TTemuujinI recently had the opportunity to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne for a business trip, and I must say, it was a rather pleasant experience overall.
First and foremost, the hotel's proximity to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is a major advantage. It's a mere 10-minute drive away, which made it incredibly convenient for someone like me who had to catch an early morning flight. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a nice touch.
The check-in process was efficient, and the staff at the front desk were courteous and welcoming. The lobby area is clean, modern, and well-designed, creating a favorable first impression.
I stayed in a standard room, and it was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the extra pillows provided. The room had a decent view and was adequately spacious for a solo traveler. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with the necessary amenities.
One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant, The Bistro. The food was surprisingly good, and they offered a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and provided excellent service. However, I found the prices a bit on the higher side.
The fitness center was well-equipped, and I was able to maintain my workout routine during my stay. The hotel also has a small outdoor pool, although I didn't have the chance to use it during my stay.
The only downside to my experience was the noise level in the hallways and adjacent rooms. Thin walls seemed to allow sound to carry, which made it a bit difficult to sleep when there were noisy neighbors. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit slow at times, which could be frustrating if you're trying to get work done.
Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne is a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience near the airport. The friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent dining options make it a comfortable place to stay. However, improvements in soundproofing and Wi-Fi speed would enhance the overall experience.

We stayed in Motel 6, Hollywood from 2 June to 6 June 2023. This hotel is only about 100 mts away from Hollywood Blvd and the famous Walk of Fame. It’s about 5-10 minutes' walk from a variety of attractions including Dolby Theatre, TCL Theatre, Hollywood Wax Museum and various other museums like Guinness Museum, Hollywood Museum, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum, Capitol Records Building, Madame Tussauds Hollywood, Death Museum etc. Universal Studios Hollywood is 3 miles away. Reception staff was not at all polite and they just did their duty of checking-in. They were not helpful in any manner and once we understood their behavior, we just avoided them. In fact the guy was very rude. The reception area looked like a mediocre lodge and the property is not well maintained. However, room was clean and was provided with TV, mini refrigerator, telephone, tea/coffee maker, iron box and free Wi-Fi. Bathroom had essential toiletries. There were loud noises coming from the corridor, even at mid-night. Though bed was comfortable, sleep was not comfortable for the noises coming from outside. Breakfast is not provided, however, free tea/coffee and a microwave facility is provided in the ground floor. A vending machine for snacks and drinks is kept nearby. There are plenty of eateries and bars not far off in Hollywood Blvd. Housekeeping is very poor. We made some request, which was never attended. We could see bottles and waste kept near the elevator and in the corridor. Often took the staircase, as we need to wait long time for the very old and slow moving elevator. There is a self- operated coin laundry, but, it was the most expensive laundry during all my stays in US. They charged $5 for one trip of washing and drying, whereas it was $3 in all other hotels. Metro station is only about 10 minutes walking distance. The street from Hollywood Blvd to the motel mostly look deserted and it is bit scary, especially in the evenings. You can find lot of drug ******* and homeless hanging around that area. Despite the price being high, I didn’t have high expectations of this place as Hollywood is expensive and you won’t get a good hotel for this price. However, that is not an excuse for rude behavior of staff and poor maintenance of the property. Overall, not happy with the stay and will never return.

Molti cibi poi gettati fuori, era come uova in pacchetti, piccola mini salsa supercottata, e patate fritte disegnate. Molti ospiti d'oltremare hanno mangiato dopo 9-00am nessun cibo? Anche le persone che lasciavano prima 7-00am sono mancate! La stanza era buona e il bagno era molto pulito!

UUtente ospiteMost important: we got an excellent nights sleep. Second floor in the back of the hotel (rm 222). It was quiet and we found the bed excellent. Service was helpful, polite. And the Wifi worked reasonably well - no problems with that.
Also important is we booked the room for $84 (total) and in LA/Manhattan Beach area that is cheap. Walk in price was $109+tax. So all my suggestions are just ”future ideas” and I have no grounds to complain about anything since we slept really well there. And yes, we will be back again no future trips.
Things that could be better:
o ice maker ”out of service” - they had one unit and it was connected, would make whirring noise when pushing in the dispenser, but no ice. We used the in-room 'fridge to freeze some water bottles to keep our picnic things cool the next day.
o inner courtyard looks like a small prison yard: the former pool and hottub are covered with what looks like roofing material and the fence around the pool area is locked off. No plants is the main problem. This could be a gem of a garden. My advice is to visit estate sales and garage sales to buy all the *large* potted plants they can find cheap (or free).
o renovate the rooms a bit: e.g. rip out the old carpets and put in any (yes, even linoleum) floor that can be mopped - much cleaner, no place for fleas, bedbugs, or dust mites to live in. Wash the walls and paint where repairs have been made - simple things can make the room much more pleasant to be in.
o put a window screen on the back window - which essentially faces a wall. But it was good (quiet) ventilation since it wasn't facing the street.
o small grey mark on the pillow case and a stray hair on the bed - harmless stuff to us but other people might find more objectiionable. And some stains in the carpet that probably will never come out. Not a big deal.
