"This is more of a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. Room was nice but cramped and no wardrobe. The balcony was nice but open plan with the others and as a single person I felt bullied by the couple next door who were out there all day. So I couldn't enjoy it. The TV is impossible to use. The breakfast wasl imited very cheap products and not worth £10. But its cosy and you do feel at home there so I guess I would stay again"

"The Gate is a lovely small and truly boutique hotel. We had our last visit to Charlie Walter’s restaurant at The Gate, since he will be moving on to another venture. We enjoyed our pig cheek, fish cakes, duck and halibut followed by panacotta with wines. Service was effective, merry and personal. See you in the future in your new venue."

"Purtroppo non c'era acqua calda e quindi non c'era riscaldamento per i primi due giorni. Era miserabilmente freddo nella nostra stanza e non c'era riscaldamento elettrico. Il colazione gratis non era esattamente gratis se volevi l'inglese pieno. E'stato coinvolto nel camminare su una pista unica a 4 miglia a Looe, pagare 4 sterline + per il parcheggio e poi pagare per il tè o il caffè. Il ricevitore è scomparso dopo la riunione iniziale e non è mai stato in giro. Ho potuto andare a ...."

"Il posto è fantastico per soggiornare, ben decorato, grande camera (Swan) con una vista fantastica sull'estuario e bellissimo nuovo bagno (amorevole la doccia!). Ella è un ottimo ospite e serve un fantastico colazione. Ci è anche un bar onesto ben stoccato. La posizione è a pochi passi dalla città. Per accedere all'hotel, si conduce un'accesso molto. Molto consigliato."

"Due notti sono passate qui in novembre mentre visitavano la famiglia a Looe.Amo il fatto che dalla stanza si può vedere al mare e una mattina abbiamo avuto un bel risveglio solare. È molto conveniente che si possa parcheggiare la macchina fuori dalla stanza. La colazione era deliziosa e abbondante. Usavamo Sawyers nel 2024 e la riutilizzaremo."

"Amadoro! Solo per una notte, perché la posizione era grande per la città. Ma il nostro ospite, Sammy, era così amichevole e accogliente. Ci siamo incontrati con caffè fresco e biscotti. "Absolutely amazing. I went there on the 16th February 2026 and they was amazing. There was a little wait at reception but nothing too bad the we checked in very easily. Amazing staff showed us to our room which did has never happened before with the other hotels I’ve said it. I will be going back. The rooms are perfect and we had a balcony looking over the sea it was amazing"

"Tutto su questo hotel è perfetto. Situato su una piccola collina con accesso dalla strada principale e direttamente dalla stazione ferroviaria. Gli utenti delle 5 camere sono dotati di spazio per auto. Siamo stati in una camera spaziosa e pulita nel pavimento con vista posta carta del visore, all'interno della stanza sono disponibili servizi di tè e caffè, frigo, biscotti, latte e bottiglie d'acqua che sono stati riempiti ogni giorno. Ella, il proprietario, è l'ospite perfetto che serve un abbondante colazione proveniente dai fornitori locali."

"Seaview Bed & Breakfast Looe Cornwall Google review summary 4.9 28 reviews 5 ★ 4 ★ 3 ★ 2 ★ 1 ★ Reviews on other travel sites Reviews Search reviews Ian Brown 1/5 just now on Google No way is this place a 5 star it's worst place I have ever stopped in all my life the hostess has no respect she spoke to me and my partner like she was a prison warden we were getting casses from car and she said we couldn't prop the door open to get in she said this is my home you abide by my rule's I new then this was big mistake stopping here so the next day me and my partner were in bed 7.30am having some intimate time when the door opened and she the boss walked in I told her to go and shut our door we were in middle of things we were so embarrassed that we didn't dare go down for breakfast that we had paid for a full week on the 2nd day we did go down with breakfast we were not greeted by good morning only to be told that we were being too noisy omg we were the only ones staying at the time and we were in attic room so on the 3rd morning we were laid in bed it was 7.15am and we tried again to have some passionate time when all sudden the door opened and we were in middle of things it was hostesses husband he never even said oh sorry he said he had come to change/update the locks so he just started hammering and drilling whilst we were still laid in bed so after he had left after a hour we packed our case's and set off for home and we were only on second day we should of been there another 5 days we were just too upset to stay at this horrible place any longer it was really dated smelt damp and foist the bed was terrible and uncomfortable all the furniture was marked dirty and needed to be skipped the carpets were dirty and full of cigarettes burns from started to finish it was a total holiday from hell and we had paid alot of money so folks we would advise you all stay away from this hell hole Trip typeHoliday · Couple Rooms1.0Service1.0Location1.0 RoomsDirty out of date Nearby activitiesIt's based top of a massive steep hills SafetyWatch your car if you can find a parking space and it's a very ruff area lots of druggies walking about WalkabilityOn top of very steep hills unwalkable Food and drinksCheap supermarket frozen food terrible Noteworthy detailsStay away horrible place holiday from hell we came home 5 days early"
