I came here alone and was so captivated by the charm of this place that I stayed for two days. A neighbor who was like an older sister to me here took me to the observatory. Everyone helped me and they were so kind. I was very lucky to be able to stay at the Chengqi Tower. I want to express my respect for the greatness of the Hakka people. I am leaving after receiving such a valuable experience and emotion. I hope everyone here will be blessed with good luck. *Boss. It would be nice to have a wall mirror in front of the table in the guest room. And it would be better if the towels were a little bigger.🤭

Llauren263The hotel is spread out over two renovated old tulous. The room interiors are extremely well done- very classy and chic, while still being authentic to the original structure. You can hear a bit of noise from the neighbors at night, but that comes with the territory. If you want the experience of staying in a tulou, this is probably the fanciest way to do it. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
The hotel is located on a canal that winds through a cute little village, but everything for tourists is closed and abandoned. We struggled to even find a place to buy a drink to sit by the water to enjoy the sunset. The hotel recommended a restaurant that's about a 10 minute walk away, but that was literally the only restaurant we saw. Luckily we had a rental car and could drive 20 minutes to a nearby village with a few options.

Questo rapporto di prezzo non è nessuno, La città di Long Jian non è grande, il posto è vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, e la stazione di trasporto di sette persone, e il parcheggio è anche conveniente.

UUtente ospiteThis hotel is located in a very friendly, small village. We stayed three nights and freely walked the village and the Tulous often being stopped by curious villagers to ask us where we are from. It’s clear foreigners are few and far between in this village but everyone was very welcoming. We have no complaints about the cleanliness, location or breakfast. The rooms and hotel itself are beautiful. If you are a light sleeper (like my friend) the babies crying in the next room or the child and father laughing and chatting in the other room till gone midnight might bother you. If you’re a deep sleeper like me, you’ll be fine! The hotel staff didn’t really offer much information to us initially. You’re kind of left to it. But when I added them to wechat they did answer questions we had and they cleaned the room when asked. For future reference here’s some information for foreigners who make make the journey.
We found two good restaurants in the village and there are small shops with basic necessities. You can arrange a car to take you to different Tulous driving distance away or you could just walk through the village and into neighbouring villages exploring the more authentic Tulous. To be honest, the “tourist” Tulous weren’t of much interest and didn’t take a single photo. The more authentic, natural, “left to their own devices” ones were much more appealing to us. You can’t get the typical shot from a hilltop of a small group of round Tulous here in this village but you can get so much more of an authentic small, relaxing, quiet village experience at your own pace. We had a driver from Xiamen airport - 3.5 hours there because he didn’t take the highway but the provincial road. On the way back to the airport we came via the highway and it was 2 hours. It’s quite far away but we think it’s very worth it if you go prepared. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. We booked this hotel, therefore the location based on the look of comfort and the fact we wanted traditional, with modern amenities so we could relax as well as explore. It ticked all those boxes.

I appreciated that the room could be aired via opening the windows instead of constant use of air-conditioning. Friendly staff although very few spoke English. Unfortunately, no English speaking TV channels available.

The room was very clean, but the mini bar seems missing. The breakfast was decent, but it would be better if coffee is offered. The massage service in the hotel was very good. UUtente ospite一次非常滿意的住宿體驗。這家民宿頗具規模，有很大的停車場和餐廳，地理位置非常好，離土樓王子振成樓幾步之遙。景區出口到他家600米，我們到時沒到下午4點景區不讓進車，把車停在出口旁停車場（免費），老闆娘及時開車來接，非常熱情。老闆給我們介紹遊覽路線。一些村民在與老闆喝茶聊天，老闆家人緣挺好。5點左右我們把車開到山莊樓下，房間乾淨床鋪舒適。老闆娘燒一手好萊，山上抓雞，田裡摘的新鮮蔬萊，明廚乾淨。吃完飯到振成樓看燈光秀，樓幕電影。如從景區入口走到振成樓約2公里，住這家就不用坐景交車和交停車費，省錢省力還方便。是非常值得推薦的一家民宿。
