Longreach Private Apartments

A spacious, clean and comfortable cabin within walking distance of the main street. My cabin had enough space to sleep 4 people. The cabin includes a large fridge, oven, microwave and washing machine. Longreach has enough tourist activities to warrant 2-3 nights.

Tastefully furnished. Sparklingly clean. Cooled for our arrival. Generous amenities. Bonus having our own washing machine with clothesline. Undercover car park. Close walking distance to RSL, Pubs and main street. Great and clear communication from owner. Another bonus being able to access earlier! Excellent thank you Longreach Private Apartments.

What a great place to stay very clean spacious well presented, beds very comfortable close to everything.The complimentary beer and wine was a added bonus, I would definitely recommend staying at this property if you are planning a trip to Longreach. 😁

There wasn’t anything overlooked. Clean, comfortable and very well appointed. Even down to washing detergent and ample pegs for the clean outside clothes line. So glad we chose these appartments and would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Longreach.

We arrived late having travelled on the Spirit of the Outback from Brisbane. We had expected to find reverse cycle air conditioning to warm us after a very cold train journey. There was none. The apartment was freezing. There were two cooling systems but the heating was totally inadequate. All we had to keep us warm was an oil filled column heater and fan heater. Taking a shower was like stepping into a 'fridge as the exhaust fan came on with light. The following morning I realised someone had left one of the cooling systems on. I turned it off and the apartment began to warm a little; but we were still cold. The apartment was well located about 10 minutes walk into Eagle Street for shopping, etc.. We walked in at least twice a day to stay warm. As our eight night holiday progressed, we experienced three lovely warm daytime temperatures and the sun filled the apartment. However, during our last four days Longreach turned very cold during the day and bitter overnight - dropping to 0.8C on our second last morning. The previous night we had sat watching television huddled together under the only blanket in the apartment. The oil filled column heater could not adequately cope with the cold. The only time to shower was during the day with the sun in the bathroom and no light on! Apart from the sun on a bright day filling the apartment, we did arrive to find it very clean. Thank you Jenny. The bed was comfortable and was equipped with a duvet and only one blanket. We will not be returning to the Longreach Private Apartments and certainly cannot recommend. We were very disappointed. The reviews we read did not tally with what we experienced.

Great facilities, close to centre of town. Easy walk to shops. Highly recommended for a few stay in Longreach. Plenty of space , big TV, washing machine and everything else you need for a short or long stay. Very pleased that we found this place. 🙏🙏

Nice spacious, clean and comfortable 2 bedroom cabin, very well equipped, with covered carport and in a good central location. Beer and wine in fridge a plus. Only downside was no internet, no onsite manager and no response from call to fix.

The apartments are very homely and roomy. Both bedrooms had air conditioning and there was also an oil heater and small electric heater. Bedrooms had blankets but we ask for additional blankets and were in our rooms that afternoon. Received text before we arrived to say room was ready and apartment number. Close to rail station, pubs and Main Street. We walked to Qantas Museum and Stockman Hall of Fame along the pathway next to highway. The day tours pick up was at Longreach Motor Inn a 5 minutes walk away. Thank you a wonderful stay.
