Hotel is lovely, beautiful room. Very welcoming staff. Restaurant service at 2 of 3 we attended while there is poor, lenghtly waiting times, forgot to bring bill. The Prime dining experience was poor at best. Server was terrific, Manager welcoming had attitude and the food was barely edible way over salted. They did ask us in a survey our opinion, which we gave them. Said they would get back never heard from them again Save your money, beautiful building far from professional,

The hotel is brand new and just amazing. All the staff is very warm and welcoming. Janette from in room dining was so attentive and patient when helping me with a problem I had. The problem turned out to be my own mistake and confusion. The holiday lights were great. Liked Santa. Great rooms! Spacious! Beautiful beach. Eddie, the driver was nice and efficient. Will definitely return next Christmas season. I work in a hotel and appreciate good service.

We stayed for our 'Babymoon' only a few weeks after the second hurricane to hit this area in a month. We knew not everything would be open, but we were shocked to see 99% of everything was up and running. Only the adult pool wasn't open at the time of our stay (Early November so almost certainly up and running now). Despite that, our stay was truly fantastic and relaxing. The Spa is so luxurious, brand new and everything we could've hoped for (bonus for the cold plunge as well). The food was pretty awesome as well. Our favorite was Riva for both breakfast and dinner. The smoothies over bfast were incredible and the wine selection for dinner were A+. The MVP of our trip was Jose (or jokingly Guiseppi at night). He was our server for dinner multiple nights at Riva and honestly gave us a truly memorable experience. Additional kudos to the pool staff who made our days relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you very much Darren and Brady. Hope to come back soon with our little one! p.s. our only critique is we wish the outdoor sushi restaurant (blanking on the name) had more "non-seafood friendly options". We don't mind 1 or 2 choses, but we felt we couldn't eat here being non-seafood folks.

We went for the week of Thanksgiving. All 7 of us (5 kids). When we arrived (late - after midnight due to flight) - there was a warm welcome. The staff greeted each kid by name and there was warm food in the room! We had great meals each day at Riva and Aura and finished our trip at CW Prime. It was a once in a lifetime experience!!! Amazing. Megan at the pool made our trip by offering a cabana and we eventually booked for our entire stay. The lagoon was sensational and the kids loved it. The lazy river, beach and pier, and pool were perfectly done. This is a top notch resort with exceptional service. We will be back soon!!!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in November. It is a beautiful new property. Curtis at the valet was so warm and welcoming! Tim at concierge was great! and Darren at the beach was awesome! The drinks were great! The rooms are beautiful and the grounds as well. the pools were a perfect temperature. The lazy river was nice too. My husband did the lagoon experience and he loved it! he fed the sting rays and swam with the fish. My only complaint was the butler service took very long......any time I called with a request . It took over an hour to get hot water to my room. All in all it was a great trip.

We were disappointed with this resort. It is beautiful, however, not as exceptional as we planned. There is no appreciation for Platinum Bonvoy. Our room overlooked a parking lot. The food served for pool lunch was McDonalds quality and $75. There were a lot of ants and flies. We attempted to watch sunset and Monkey bar did not have drinks listed on their menu. They did not inform prior to our stay, only on arrival, that the adult pool was closed and the beach was not set up for service. The next morning we had breakfast but they were extremely short staffed with only one waitress. The “buffet” consisted of heat lamp food and frozen fruit. The Sting Ray lagoon is nice for children. The resort is clean and well maintained. There valets were exceptional as well as the butlers.

I know it's new, but if you expect a 5 star experience I'd suggest coming back in a couple of years. The restaurant CW prime is not well designed. There were a dozen people waiting at the 'desk' while the hostess was nowhere to be found. It's a nice place, but there is no warmth, you don't feel welcome or happy at the St. Regis. The grounds are beautiful, but the vibe is off. Every employee told us they were overworked and understaffed, including the waitress at the very expensive restaurant and the valet who wanted $10 to get your car.

This hotel has men in suits harassing long-term Longboat Key residents in an attempt to get us to not walk in the water in front of their hotel. Longboat Key residents have every right to walk down the beach, on the water line, as we have been doing for 10 years, some residents for 50 years. This hotel has no regard for residents with the volume of their music (terrible singing and violin, by the way) and no regard for maintaining the peace of a beach walk of residents who were here long before Marriot decided to build here. Stop harassing residents please. You do not own the Gulf of Mexico. Thank you.

Outstanding stay! The service was impeccable but what truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional staff. Jennifer from the Butler team made us feel so welcomed and was swift with every request, Bailey at Oshen was great with conversation and cocktails, and the lagoon team was so friendly. We participated in the morning’s stingray experience, where we learned so much from Dylan, Ryan, and Leslie (Casper was my favorite stingray). I can’t wait to return for the snorkel experience. Highly recommend this resort!
