I have stayed at this hotel in years past with mixed reviews. Last year the air conditioner did not work in the lobby, and the air conditioner in our room was not able to keep up with the heat of summer. This year the lobby was fine and our room actually cooled very well. I found the hotel clean and our room was clean also. Obviously, many (lower end) motels have not returned to the pre-covid breakfast with eggs, meat, etc in addition to the standard fair of toast, waffles and donuts. They had waffles, bagels, bread for toast (individually wrapped of course.) They had apples and oranges, but NO JUICE, no yougart, no milk and the only cereal was instant packs of oatmeal. They had one dispenser for regular coffee and one for decalf, but they were small and always running out. The staff made no effort to come out of their caged desk area and check or clean tables even when there were plenty of people eating breakfast. Regarding staff, I have stayed there off and on for several years (using Wyndham Rewards points) and have gotten used to the fact that the staff apparently has no training or desire to show good customer service. They still have their plastic covid screen up (which is fine), but the staff does not smile, thank-you for being a customer, or do anything special to make you appreciated, and this is not just one person on one visit. This seems to be the norm. And the pool is still "closed for maintenance" which it has for the last serval visits.
