Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, Anguilla

Questa è stata la nostra prima vacanza dall'inizio della pandemia e non avremmo potuto chiedere un posto migliore in cui soggiornare nella bellissima isola paradisiaca di Anguilla di Cap Juluca. Il design e la posizione - a pochi passi da una delle spiagge più belle dell'isola - erano ipnotizzanti. Ogni singolo membro del personale era gentile e disponibile, impegnato a fare in modo che il nostro soggiorno fosse tutto ciò che poteva essere. Tutte le nostre esperienze culinarie dentro e fuori la proprietà (suggerite dal personale) erano di prim'ordine e deliziose. Il nostro massaggio di coppia e l'esperienza del bagno di sale presso l'Arawak Spa sono stati divini. E l'escursione in barca fornita dal capitano Sherwin e dalla guida Carlton di Calypso Charters è stata indimenticabile! Ogni singolo aspetto del nostro soggiorno è stato perfetto. Cap Juluca è davvero impareggiabile!

Definitely the best location on the island with the best beach that you can just walk out of your room to be on the pure white sand. A sense of luxury prevails yet understated with a great new manager who plays an active roll and our room had a butler who was there to help with anything we needed. The staff are amazing here- we loved it! The only negative unfortunately here is the food - not up to the standard of the hotel for sure- very hit or miss - if they could get their cuisine up to par this would be perfect- we hired a jeep and ate at very casual local dining spots all over island where food was prepared with love and that was the way to go! The beach can be windy but you have your own private chairs on the beach infront of your villa with excellent service all day to keep the cocktails coming and the sand is pure white with amazing turquoise water.

From day 1 I reach at Cap Juluca for my 1st time ever, Yoann at the lobby welcomed us with open hands and made us feel like we was home. My host Maury made sure that we was good and, he is the best host!!!!Breakfast was ok, Yakeenie made us felt good and she make sure check up on us…..lunch at cap shake was amazing, the team over there is truly amazing, they made us feel like we was family….oh don’t forget the get music they had playing there…it had us didn’t want to leave…love them over there!!!Dinner at Uchu was amazing!!! Had a little problem choosing from the menu but Joann came and proposed some dishes to us and trust me she had pick the right ones because wow they was amazing. The guys at the pool made us feel like we was brothers (especially the one with the locks) and they made sure our time at the pool was well spend. Dinner at Pimm’s, oh my god the food there was amazing and also the team as well. The hold staff at Cap Juluca was amazing and we love them. Last but not least Big thank to their new GM Eleonore, she made sure our stay was amazing, she’s a amazing and loving person!!! See you all soon Cap Juluca!!!

Cap Juluca is stunning! The rooms are big and beautiful. The beach and surrounding property is gorgeous. The stay Includes a great breakfast buffet each morning. Everyone we encounter everytime we go is pleasant and friendly. And the bikes to ride around the whole property are a great addition. It lives up to the Belmond 5 star quality!

Cap Juluca is truly world-class. I work in events as a career at similar-level hotels and so when I was picking where to take my wife for our honeymoon, my bar was *incredibly* (and likely unfairly) high. Well, the Belmond team at Cap Juluca exceeded every expectation and then some. I didn't realize the bar could be taken any higher, but they did exactly that. The level of service was like a 3-star Michelin restaurant (attentive, proactive, kind, respectful, and discrete). The facilities and property from the brand new spa (oh my goodness!) to the stunning beachfront were PERFECT. Not to mention every morning, we had breakfast while soft waves lapped at the white sands just feet from the restaurant as we watched the turquoise water glitter, ebb, and flow. The concierge and our personal attendant (Go Lucy!) were both exceptional - helping us adjust our daily itineraries if and when we needed last minute changes. Shawn was an awesome tennis partner. And all three of the restaurants on property were fantastic, especially Uchu which we visited twice in a week because of the great ceviche and amazing live music. Bravo all around. I hope to return many, many times. And thank you CJ team for making our honeymoon even more memorable than we could've ever hoped it would be.

There are some places that you visit, where you leave a piece of your heart behind. Not only is it breathtakingly beautiful, it is the kindness of the people that work there that make it stand out amongst all of the other hotels. Marisse Glasgow is an absolute gem. My husband and I had spent our honeymoon at Cap Juluca and returned to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Marisse went out of her way to make our visit a truly memorable one, just as memorable as it had been 25 years ago. Her kindness and hospitality is something that I will never forget and will forever be grateful for. She made our visit magical and brought me to tears of joy with her kindness. We cannot thank her enough for being so welcoming and kind. From our initial email communication to our visit, she was absolutely wonderful!! I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so kindly by anyone in the service industry. You can tell that she loves what she does and that she genuinely cares about making your trip to Cap Juluca unforgettable!! What an asset to the Belmond Company! Of course, it is even more beautiful than it was, but even with the updates, it has retained the beauty and character that it had 25 years ago. We really enjoyed the new pool. The view from it is incredible. You cannot get a better beach experience than that of Maundays Bay and it’s beautiful, private crescent moon shaped beach. We also had dinner at Pimms which was spectacular with Michelin star chef, Alberto Landgraf. The venue is stunning and the meal was exquisitely prepared and presented. The service by Margaret, I believe and Christa was impeccable. I am probably not remembering his name correctly, so forgive me, but Denaldo (?) was so kind and went out if his way to be sure we were happy on the beach and by the pool. Also the opportunity to speak to Elvis after 25 years was something we were so grateful for. We can’t wait to return for our next visit! A heartfelt thank you to Marisse and staff for making our 25th anniversary celebration so special! We will never forget your kindness, hard work and generosity!!! Thank you so much❤️❤️❤️.

We just spent an AMAZING weekend at the impeccable Belmond Cap Juluca . If you're looking to leave in a dream for few days this a definitely place to stay. The Staff is so professional and make sure you enjoy to the max you're staying. The new General Manager Eleonor is incredible. For sur we will be back.

To be clear I stayed at this hotel in August of 2023 not October of 2023. The place I truly wanted to stay was all booked up and so I opted for this hotel. My apologies with the delayed review. This property is absolutely beautiful. The lobby/welcome area is very airy and aesthetically pleasing. The rooms were very clean and comfy. The bathroom setup was also very nice. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a most wonderful and pleasant experience. A very special thanks to Yoann, the legend they call ‘Justin-Time’, Delano, and Keshim. The only issue(s) I had with this place was with the restaurants. I try and follow a vegan/plant based lifestyle as much as possible and the options they did offer at times they didn’t have all the components. For example, they had no avocado and if all you’re eating is a salad then the avocado is a VERY key component and the one that will provide the most calories and therefore, keep you feeling full for a bit longer. I went to one of the restaurants on the property and I was informed by my server after I had requested the vegan dinner option that I had to provide a 24 hour notice in order to have that so needless to say no vegan pre fix dinner for me that night. This is something that should be made very clear upon check-in. I had clearly stated during the many emails sent back and forth PRIOR to my arrival about my dietary preferences so I am definitely not sure why this information was not communicated to me at that time. I was frustrated on quite a few occasions for the lack of options and then the options that they did have were either NOT available or missing a key component. After the experience I had here (and other places), I made myself a promise that when vacationing I will only go to places that are either entirely vegan or VERY vegan friendly. If you have no standards for what you consume then by all means you will LOVE this place. If you are plant based/vegan then definitely contact the hotel prior to booking your reservation and make sure they will have food that you can eat and would want to eat. And if you will need to provide them an advance notice of which menu you will be selecting. Again, it has been over a year since my initial stay so perhaps they have improved in this sector. Again, the staff really did go above and beyond to make sure we were truly satisfied. However, the vegan options along with the availability of the ingredients left me frustrated at times.
